2:28

ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Agreements (‘Ahd)Allah / Does Not Love Mischief-MongersCovenant (Mithaq, ‘Ahd) / With AllahDisorder (Fitnah, Fasad)Earth (Al-Ard) / Create Not Mischief OnLosers (Khasirun)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Who break the covenant of Allah after having established it, and cut asunder what Allah has bidden to be joined, and create disorder in the earth; it is these that are the losers.
2:65

ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَكُنتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

Grace (Fadl) / Bestowed On BelieversLosers (Khasirun)Mercy / Allah’s MercyBani Isra’il / Bestowed Favours
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Then you turned back thereafter; and had it not been for Allah’s grace towards you and His mercy, you would surely have been of the losers.
2:122

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَتْلُونَهُۥ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۗ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Losers (Khasirun)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
They to whom We have given the Book follow it as it ought to be followed; it is these that believe therein. And whoso believes not therein, these are they who are the losers.
3:86

وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ ٱلْإِسْلَٰمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

Allah / True Religion With Is IslamIslam / Final, Perfect ReligionLosers (Khasirun)Qabul / AcceptReligion / Prescribed Islam As The True

And whoso seeks a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the life to come he shall be among the losers.
3:150

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تُطِيعُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَعْقَٰبِكُمْ فَتَنقَلِبُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ

Believers (Mu’min) / Do Not Take Disbelievers For FriendsLosers (Khasirun)Muslims / And Non-MuslimsObey / Do Not, Disbelievers, Evil, Hypocrites
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
O ye who believe! if you obey those who have disbelieved, they will cause you to turn back on your heels, and you will become losers.
4:120

وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَءَامُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ وَلَءَامُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا

Dallin / AstrayHell (Jahannam) / For SatanLosers (Khasirun)Satan / MisleadsSatan / Leads Astray, TemptsSatan / Tempts Through Human Weaknesses
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘And assuredly I will lead them astray and assuredly I will excite in them vain desires, and assuredly I will incite them and they will cut the ears of cattle; and assuredly I will incite them and they will alter Allah’s creation.’ And he who takes Satan for a friend beside Allah has certainly suffered a manifest loss.
5:6

ٱلْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتُ ۖ وَطَعَامُ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ حِلٌّ لَّكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ ۖ وَٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَآ ءَاتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَٰفِحِينَ وَلَا مُتَّخِذِىٓ أَخْدَانٍ ۗ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُۥ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

Actions (A‘mal) / In Vain Who Reject FaithApostate (Murtad) / Punishment For AnChastityDower-Money (Mahr, Ajr)Food (Ta‘am)Food (Ta‘am) / And JewsLosers (Khasirun)Marriage / Cohabitation In, (Nikah)People Of The Book (Ahlul-Kitab)Law / DietaryLawful (Halal)Tayyib / Good Things, (Tayyibat)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
This day all good things have been made lawful for you. And the food of the People of the Book is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And lawful for you are chaste believing women and chaste women from among those who were given the Book before you, when you give them their dowries, contracting valid marriage and not committing fornication nor taking secret paramours. And whoever rejects the faith, his work has doubtless come to naught, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.
5:22

يَٰقَوْمِ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْضَ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةَ ٱلَّتِى كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَرْتَدُّوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَارِكُمْ فَتَنقَلِبُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ

Holy LandLosers (Khasirun)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has ordained for you and do not turn back, for then you will turn losers.’
5:31

فَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُۥ نَفْسُهُۥ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُۥ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

Losers (Khasirun)MurderAbel
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
But his mind induced him to kill his brother, so he killed him and became one of the losers.
5:54

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ ۙ إِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْ ۚ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ

Losers (Khasirun)Oaths (Yamin) / Of Disbelievers, Hypocrites, Idolaters
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And those who believe will say, ‘Are these they who swore by Allah with their most solemn oaths that they were surely with you?’ Their works are vain and they have become the losers.
6:32

قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَآءِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً قَالُوا۟ يَٰحَسْرَتَنَا عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِيهَا وَهُمْ يَحْمِلُونَ أَوْزَارَهُمْ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِمْ ۚ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ

Allah / Knowledge Of The Hour, (Sa‘ah)Allah / Meeting With, (Liqa’)Burden / Share The Of Their EvildoingsDay Of Requital / Resurrection, (Yaumul-Qiyamah, Yaumud-Din, Yaumul-Akhirah, Yaumul-Ba‘th) / Is Sure To ComeDay Of Requital / Resurrection, (Yaumul-Qiyamah, Yaumud-Din, Yaumul-Akhirah, Yaumul-Ba‘th) / Rejection OfHour (Sa‘ah)Life (Hayat) / A StruggleLife (Hayat) / Purpose OfLosers (Khasirun)Afterlife (Akhirah) / Those Who Reject Have No Real Knowledge
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Those indeed are the losers who deny the meeting with Allah, so much so, that when the Hour shall come on them unawares, they will say, ‘O our grief for our neglecting this Hour!’ And they shall bear their burdens on their backs. Surely, evil is that which they bear.
6:141

قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَتَلُوٓا۟ أَوْلَٰدَهُمْ سَفَهًۢا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَحَرَّمُوا۟ مَا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱفْتِرَآءً عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ

Allah / Forbids Unlawful SlayingChildren / Do Not Slay YourDallin / AstrayInfanticideKnowledge (‘Ilm) / And DisbelieversKnowledge (‘Ilm) / And IgnorantKnowledge (‘Ilm) / Qur’an For Attainment OfLosers (Khasirun)Arabs / Customs And PracticesCustoms Of / ArabsIdolators / Pagans, (Mushrikin) / Evil Practices Of
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Losers indeed are they who kill their children foolishly for lack of knowledge, and make unlawful what Allah has provided for them, forging a lie against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and are not rightly guided.
7:24

قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَآ أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

Adam (Adam(as)) / RepentedAllah / Prayer Seeking Divine MercyForgiveness (‘Afw) / Adam, Prophets, SeekLosers (Khasirun)Mercy / On RepentersPrayer (Du‘a’) / Of AdamPrayers Of The Holy Qur’an / For Forgiveness
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
They said, ‘Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves; and if Thou forgive us not and have not mercy on us, we shall surely be of the lost.’
7:91

وَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ لَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْبًا إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ

Losers (Khasirun)Madyan / Midian, (Mada’in-E-Salih)

And the chief men of his people who disbelieved said, ‘If you follow Shu‘aib, you shall then certainly be the losers.’
7:93

ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ شُعَيْبًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا۟ فِيهَا ۚ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ شُعَيْبًا كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

Losers (Khasirun)Messengers (Rusul) / Are Mocked, Opposed, Called Liars, Madmen, SorcerersShu‘aib(as) / Jethro / Rejected By PeopleMadyan / Midian, (Mada’in-E-Salih)

Those who accused Shu‘aib of lying became as if they had never dwelt therein. Those who accused Shu‘aib of lying — it was they who were the losers.
7:100

أَفَأَمِنُوا۟ مَكْرَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَلَا يَأْمَنُ مَكْرَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Losers (Khasirun)PerishPlot / Plan, (Makar)

Are they then secure from the design of Allah? And none feels secure from the design of Allah save the people that perish.
7:150

وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فِىٓ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَرَأَوْا۟ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ يَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

Allah / Mercy Of For Those Who Repent And BelieveDallin / AstrayLosers (Khasirun)Mercy / On RepentersPrayers Of The Holy Qur’an / For ForgivenessBani Isra’il / Broke The Covenant, Perverted The WordMoses / Musa(as) / Story Of
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when they were smitten with remorse and saw that they had indeed gone astray, they said, ‘If our Lord do not have mercy on us and forgive us, we shall surely be among the losers.’
7:179

مَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَهُوَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِى ۖ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Allah / Guides Towards The Right PathGuidance / Allah GivesLosers (Khasirun)

He whom Allah guides is on the right path. And they whom He adjudges astray, these it is who shall be the losers.
