اِنَّمَا تُنۡذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّکۡرَ وَخَشِیَ الرَّحۡمٰنَ بِالۡغَیۡبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرۡہُ بِمَغۡفِرَۃٍ وَّاَجۡرٍ کَرِیۡمٍ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Thou canst warn only him who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God in secret. So give him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a noble reward.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
تُو صرف اُسے ڈراسکتا ہے جو نصیحت کی پیروی کرتا ہے اور رحمان سے غیب میں ڈرتا ہے۔ پس اسے ایک بڑی مغفرت کی اور معزز اجر کی خوشخبری دےدے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
تو تو صرف اس شخص کو ہوشیار کر سکتا ہے جو یاددہانی کو مان لیا کرتا ہے اور رحمن (خدا) سے علیحدگی میں بھی ڈرتا ہے۔ پس ایسے شخص کو تو ایک عظم الشان معافی اور ایک عزت والے بدلہ کی خبر سنا دے۔

Commentary:
The expression بالغیب (in secret) may mean that (1) a believer fears God while he does not see Him; (2) he behaves as a righteous and God-fearing person even when other people are not seeing him, i.e. he is sincere and honest in his belief and actions.

تم تو اُسی شخص کو خبردار کر سکتے ہی جو نصیحت کی پیروی کرے اور بے دیکھے خدائے رحمان سے ڈرے اُسے مغفرت اور اجر کریم کی بشارت دے دو

You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward.
