فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ۖ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And We saved him and those who were with him, by Our mercy, and We cut off the last remnant of those who rejected Our Signs. And they were not believers.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
پس ہم نے اسے اپنی رحمت سے نجات بخشی اور ان کو بھی جو اس کے ساتھ تھے اور ہم نے ان لوگوں کی جڑ کاٹ ڈالی جنہوں نے ہمارے نشانات کو جھٹلایا تھا اور وہ (کسی صورت) ایمان لانے والے نہیں تھے۔

Et Nous l’avons sauvé ainsi que ceux qui étaient avec lui, par Notre miséricorde, et Nous avons coupé net le dernier vestige de ceux qui rejetèrent Nos Signes, et ils n’étaient point croyants.

Sodann erretteten Wir ihn und die mit ihm waren durch Unsere Barmherzigkeit, und Wir schnitten den letzten Zweig derer ab, die Unsere Zeichen leugneten und nicht Gläubige waren.

آخر ہم نے اس کو اور اس کے ساتھیوں کو اپنی رحمت کے ذریعہ نجات بخشی اور جن لوگوں نے ہماری آیتوں کا انکار کیا تھا اور مومنوں میں شامل نہ ہوئے تھے ان کی جڑ (تک) کاٹ دی۔

Commentary:
The word دابر (last remnant) also means "root" (see 6:46), in which case it may be taken to signify leaders of a community, i.e. those who lead and organize opposition to a Prophet and devise plans to compass his ruin. The tribe of ‘Ad was destroyed by a furious wind, (see 69:7).

آخر کار ہم نے اپنی مہربانی سے ہودؑ اور اس کے ساتھیوں کو بچا لیا اور اُن لوگوں کی جڑ کاٹ دی جو ہماری آیات کو جھٹلا چکے تھے اور ایمان لانے والے نہ تھے

So We saved him and those with him by mercy from Us. And We eliminated those who denied Our signs, and they were not [at all] believers.
