وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَلِقَآءِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ ۚ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And those who disbelieve in Our Signs and the meeting of the Hereafter — their works are vain. Can they expect to be rewarded for anything except for what they do?

اور وہ لوگ جنہوں نے ہماری آیات اور آخرت کی ملاقات کو جھٹلا دیا ان کے اعمال ضائع ہو گئے۔ انہیں کوئی جزا نہیں دی جائے گی مگر وہی جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے۔

اور وہ لوگ جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کی اور بعدالموت ملاقات کی تکذیب کی ہے ان کے سب اعمال ضائع ہو گئے ہیں۔ وہ صرف اپنے (مخلصانہ) عمل کا بدلہ پائیں گے۔

Commentary:
The verse serves as a great warning for all men. One should not live on pious hopes. Only good works count when rewards are meted out.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
ہماری نشانیوں کو جس کسی نے جھٹلایا اور آخرت کی پیشی کا انکار کیا اُس کے سارے اعمال ضائع ہو گئے کیا لوگ اِس کے سوا کچھ اور جزا پا سکتے ہیں کہ جیسا کریں ویسا بھریں؟"

Those who denied Our signs and the meeting of the Hereafter - their deeds have become worthless. Are they recompensed except for what they used to do?
