ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمُ اتَّبَعُوۡا مَاۤ اَسۡخَطَ اللّٰہَ وَکَرِہُوۡا رِضۡوٰنَہٗ فَاَحۡبَطَ اَعۡمٰلَہُمۡ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
This is because they followed that which displeased Allah, and hated that which pleased Him. So He rendered their works vain.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
یہ نتیجہ ہے اس کا کہ انہوں نے اس چیز کی جو اللہ کو ناراض کرتی ہے پیروی کی اور اس کی رضا کو ناپسند کیا۔ پس اس نے ان کے اعمال ضائع کردیئے۔

C’est parce qu’ils suivaient ce qui courrouçait Allāh, et qu’ils détestaient ce qui Lui était agréable. Il a donc rendu vaines leurs œuvres.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
یہ اس لئے ہوگا کہ جس بات کو اللہ نے ناپسند کیا وہ اس کے پیچھے چل پڑے اور خدا کی رضا (کی جستجو) کو ناپسند کیا سو خدا نے بھی ان کے اعمال ضائع کر دئیے۔
