إِنَّمَا يَنْهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ قَٰتَلُوكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ وَأَخْرَجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمْ وَظَٰهَرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ إِخْرَاجِكُمْ أَن تَوَلَّوْهُمْ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُمْ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Allah only forbids you, respecting those who have fought against you on account of your religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and have helped others in driving you out, that you make friends of them, and whosoever makes friends of them — it is these that are the transgressors.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اللہ تمہیں محض اُن لوگوں کے بارہ میں منع کرتا ہے جنہوں نے دین کے معاملہ میں تم سے لڑائی کی اور تمہیں تمہارے گھروں سے نکالا اور تمہیں نکالنے میں ایک دوسرے کی مدد کی کہ تم انہیں دوست بناؤ۔ اور جو اُنہیں دوست بنائے گا تو یہی ہیں وہ جو ظالم ہیں۔
French
Allāh vous interdit seulement, à l’égard de ceux qui se sont battus contre vous à cause de votre religion, et qui vous ont chassés de vos habitations, et qui ont aidé à votre expulsion, de vous lier d’amitié avec eux, et quiconque se lie d’amitié avec eux – ce sont ceux-là qui sont les injustes.

Allah verbietet euch nur, mit denen, die euch bekämpft haben des Glaubens wegen und euch aus euren Heimstätten vertrieben und (anderen) geholfen haben, euch zu vertreiben, Freundschaft zu machen. Und wer mit ihnen Freundschaft macht – das sind die Missetäter.

Al-lah sólo os prohíbe, respecto a los que han luchado contra vosotros en razón de vuestra religión y os han expulsado de vuestras casas, y han ayudado a otros a expulsaros, que hagáis amistad con ellos, pues quien se haga amigo de ellos sepa que se contaría entre los transgresores.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اللہ تم کو صرف ان لوگوں سے (دوستی کرنے سے) روکتا ہے جنہوں نے تم سے دینی اختلاف کی وجہ سے جنگ کی اور جنہوں نے تم کو گھروں سے نکالا یا تمہارے نکالنے پر تمہارے دوسرے دشمنوں کی مدد کی اور جو لوگ بھی ایسے لوگوں سے دوستی کریں وہ ظالم ہیں۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی
وہ تمہیں جس بات سے روکتا ہے وہ تو یہ ہے کہ تم اُن لوگوں سے دوستی کرو جنہوں نے تم سے دین کے معاملہ میں جنگ کی ہے اور تمہیں تمہارے گھروں سے نکالا ہے اور تمہارے اخراج میں ایک دوسرے کی مدد کی ہے اُن سے جو لوگ دوستی کریں وہی ظالم ہیں
English - Sahih
Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

تمہیں الله انہیں سے منع کرتا ہے کہ جو دین میں تم سے لڑے اورانہوں نے تمہیں تمہارے گھروں سے نکال دیا اور تمہارے نکالنے پر (لوگوں کی) مدد بھی کی کہ ان سے دوستی کرو اورجس نے ان سے دوستی کی تو پھر وہی ظالم بھی ہیں

God only forbids you as to those who have fought you in religion's cause, and expelled you from your habitations, and have supported in your expulsion, that you should take them for friends. And whosoever takes them for friends, those -- they are the evildoers.
