قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَکُمُ الۡحَقُّ مِنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ ۖ فَمَنِ اہۡتَدٰی فَاِنَّمَا یَہۡتَدِیۡ لِنَفۡسِہٖ ۖ وَمَنۡ ضَلَّ فَاِنَّمَا یَضِلُّ عَلَیۡہَا ۖ وَمَاۤ اَنَا۠ عَلَیۡکُمۡ بِوَکِیۡلٍ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Say, ‘O ye men, now has the truth come to you from your Lord. So whosoever follows the guidance, follows it only for the good of his own soul, and whosoever errs, errs only against it. And I am not a keeper over you.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
تُو کہہ دے کہ اے انسانو! یقیناً تمہارے پاس تمہارے ربّ کی طرف سے حق آچکا ہے۔ پس جو ہدایت پا گیا وہ اپنے نفس کی خاطر ہی ہدایت پاتا ہے اور جو گمراہ ہوا وہ اپنے نفس کے خلاف ہی گمراہ ہوتا ہے۔ اور میں تم پر نگران نہیں ہوں۔
French
Dis : « Ô hommes, maintenant la Vérité vous est venue de votre Seigneur. Alors quiconque suit la direction la suit pour le bien de sa propre âme ; et quiconque s’égare, ne s’égare qu’à son détriment. Et je ne suis pas votre surveillant. »
German
Sprich: "O ihr Menschen, nun ist die Wahrheit zu euch gekommen von eurem Herrn. Wer nun dem rechten Weg folgt, der folgt ihm allein zum Heil seiner eigenen Seele, und wer in die Irre geht, der geht nur zu seinem eigenen Schaden irre. Und ich bin nicht ein Hüter über euch."

你 (对他们) 说: “人们啊! 真理业已从你们养主那里来临。所以 (现在) [g]凡是遵行正道的, 他是为了自己 (的益处) 遵行正道; 凡是入了迷途的, 他的迷误只损害自己。我不是你们的监护者。”

Di': «O voi uomini, ora vi è giunta la verità mandatavi dal vostro Signore. Chiunque segua questa guida, la segue solo per il bene della propria anima, e chiunque erra, erra soltanto contro di essa. E io non sono un sorvegliante su di voi.»

Diles: “Oh vosotros, hombres: ahora os ha llegado la verdad de vuestro Señor. Así, quien siga la guía la sigue únicamente por el bien de su propia alma, y quien yerra, yerra sólo contra ella. Pues yo no soy vuestro guardián.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
تو (ان سے) کہہ (کہ) اے لوگو! تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے حق آ گیا ہے پس (اب) جو کوئی (اس کی بتائی ہوئی) ہدایت کو اختیار کرے تو وہ اپنی جان ہی (کے فائدہ) کے لئے ہدایت کو اختیار کرتا ہے۔ اور جو اس راہ سے بھٹک جائے تو اس کا بھٹکنا (بھی) اس کی جان پر ہی (ایک وبال) ہوگا۔ اور میں تمہارا کوئی ذمہ وار نہیں ہوں۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
Say, ‘O men, now has the Truth come to you from your Lord. So [b]whoever follows the guidance, follows it only for the good of his own soul, and whoever errs, errs only against it. And I am not a keeper over you.’

Commentary:
The Holy Prophet is asked to tell disbelievers that personally he would gain or lose nothing by their good or bad actions because he had not been appointed a keeper over them. His duty was confined to the delivery of the Message entrusted to him.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اے محمدؐ، کہہ دو کہ “لوگو، تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے حق آ چکا ہے اب جو سیدھی راہ اختیار کرے اس کی راست روی اسی کے لیے مفید ہے، اور جو گمراہ رہے اس کی گمراہی اسی کے لیے تباہ کن ہے اور میں تمہارے اوپر کوئی حوالہ دار نہیں ہوں"
English - Sahih
Say, "O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray [in violation] against it. And I am not over you a manager."

کہہ دو اے لوگو تمہیں تمہارے رب سے حق پہنچ چکا ہے پس جو کوئی راہ پر آئے سو وہ اپنے بھلے کے لیے راہ پاتا ہے اور جو گمراہ رہے گا اس کا وبال اسی پر پڑے گا اور میں تمہارا ذمہ دارنہیں ہوں
