وَيَٰقَوْمِ أَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْمِكْيَالَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشْيَآءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘And O my people, give full measure and full weight with equity, and defraud not people of their things and commit not iniquity in the earth, causing disorder.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور اے میری قوم! ماپ اور تول کو انصاف کے ساتھ پورا کیا کرو اور لوگوں کی چیزیں انہیں کم کر کے نہ دیا کرو اور زمین میں مفسد بنتے ہوئے بد امنی نہ پھیلاؤ۔

French

Et ô mon peuple, donnez pleine mesure et bon poids avec équité, et ne privez pas les gens de ce qui leur appartient de droit, et ne commettez pas d’iniquités sur la terre, créant du désordre.

German

O mein Volk, gebt volles Maß und Gewicht nach Richtigkeit und betrügt nicht die Menschen um ihr Eigentum und richtet nicht Unheil an auf Erden, indem ihr Unfrieden stiftet.

[f]“我的族人啊! 量衡要完全公道, 不要诈取人们应得的东西, 不要在大地上作奸犯科, 制造混乱;

Italian

E, o mio popolo, date la giusta misura e il giusto peso con onestà, e non defraudate il popolo di quanto gli è dovuto per diritto e non commettete sulla terra iniquità, causando disordini.

Spanish

¡Oh, pueblo mío! colmad la medida y el peso con equidad y no privéis a las gentes de lo que les corresponde por derecho, ni cometáis iniquidad en la tierra, causando el desorden.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اے میری قوم! تم ماپ اور تول کو انصاف کے ساتھ پورا کیا کرو۔ اور لوگوں کو ان کی چیزیں کم نہ دیا کرو۔ اور فسادی بن کر زمین میں خرابی مت پھیلاؤ۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

The verse hints at the importance of fair and just dealings, especially in business matters.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور اے برادران قوم، ٹھیک ٹھیک انصاف کے ساتھ پورا ناپو اور تولو اور لوگوں کو ان کی چیزوں میں گھاٹا نہ دیا کرو اور زمین میں فساد نہ پھیلاتے پھرو

English - Sahih

And O my people, give full measure and weight in justice and do not deprive the people of their due and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption.

اور اے میری قوم انصاف سے ناپ اور تول کو پورا کرو اور لوگو ں کو ان کی چیزیں گھٹا کر نہ دو اور زمین میں فساد نہ مچاؤ
