قَالَ اِنَّمَاۤ اَشۡکُوۡا بَثِّیۡ وَحُزۡنِیۡۤ اِلَی اللّٰہِ وَاَعۡلَمُ مِنَ اللّٰہِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

He replied, ‘I only complain of my sorrow and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you know not.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اس نے کہا میں تو اپنے رنج واَلَم کی صرف اللہ کے حضور فریاد کرتا ہوں اور اللہ کی طرف سے میں وہ کچھ جانتا ہوں جو تم نہیں جانتے۔

French

Il répondit : « Je me plains de mon affliction et de ma douleur uniquement à Allāh, et je sais d’Allāh ce que vous ne savez pas. »

German

Er antwortete: "Ich klage nur meinen Kummer und meinen Gram zu Allah, und ich weiß von Allah, was ihr nicht wisset.

他 (回答) 说: “我仅向安拉申诉我的忧患和悲伤。我从安拉那里知道你们所不知道的,

Italian

Egli rispose: «Io mi lamento soltanto con Allah per il mio dolore e la mia angoscia. E io so da Allah quel che voi non sapete.

Spanish

Respondió: “Sólo me lamento ante Al-lah por mi pena y mi dolor, y sé de Al-lah lo que vosotros ignoráis”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس نے کہا (کہ) میں اپنی پریشانی اور غم کی فریاد اللہ کے حضور کرتا ہوں اور میں اللہ کی طرف سے وہ علم رکھتا ہوں جو تم نہیں رکھتے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

He replied, ‘I only complain of my sorrow and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you know not,[1404A]

The verse implies that Jacob had been informed by God that Joseph, Benjamin and Judah were alive.

English - Five Volume Translation

He replied, ‘I only complain of my sorrow and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you know not.[1586]

Commentary:

In this beautiful verse Jacob pours out his heart to God, in Whom all holy men seek solace. He also hints at the fact that he knew from God that Joseph, Benjamin and Judah were alive.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اُس نے کہا "میں اپنی پریشانی اور اپنے غم کی فریاد اللہ کے سوا کسی سے نہیں کرتا، اور اللہ سے جیسا میں واقف ہوں تم نہیں ہو

English - Sahih

He said, "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know.

کہا میں تو اپنی پریشانی اور غم کا اظہار الله ہی کے سامنے کرتا ہوں اور الله کی طرف سے میں وہ جانتا ہوں جو تم نہیں جانتے

He said, "Only I complain (of) my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah what not you know.
