وَاَوۡفُوا الۡکَیۡلَ اِذَا کِلۡتُمۡ وَزِنُوۡا بِالۡقِسۡطَاسِ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمِ ۚ ذٰلِکَ خَیۡرٌ وَّاَحۡسَنُ تَاۡوِیۡلًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a right balance; that is best and most commendable in the end.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور جب تم ماپ کرو تو پورا ماپ کرو اور سیدھی ڈنڈی سے تولو۔ یہ بات بہت بہتر اور انجام کار سب سے اچھی ہے۔

Et faites pleine mesure quand vous mesurez ; et pesez avec une balance juste ; cela vaut mieux et le résultat en est meilleur.

German

Und gebet volles Maß, wenn ihr messet, und wäget mit richtiger Waage; das ist durchaus vorteilhaft und letzten Endes das Beste.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور جب تم (کسی کو کچھ) ماپ کر دینے لگو تو ماپ پورا دیا کرو اور (جب تول کر دو تو بھی) سیدھے ترازو کے ساتھ تول کر دیا کرو۔ یہ بات سب سے بہتر اور انجام کے لحاظ سے سب سے اچھی ہے۔

Commentary:

The verse points to the fact that the secret of the commercial progress and prosperity of a people lies in honest and fair dealing in commercial transactions.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

پیمانے سے دو تو پورا بھر کر دو، اور تولو تو ٹھیک ترازو سے تولو یہ اچھا طریقہ ہے اور بلحاظ انجام بھی یہی بہتر ہے
