وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥ مِن رَّحْمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ نَبِيًّا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And We bestowed upon him, out of Our mercy, his brother Aaron as a Prophet.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور ہم نے اسے اپنی رحمت سے اس کا بھائی ہارون بطور نبی عطا کیا۔

French

Et, par Notre miséricorde, Nous lui accordâmes son frère Aaron en tant que Prophète.

Und Wir bescherten ihm aus Unserer Barmherzigkeit seinen Bruder Aaron als einen Propheten.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم نے اس (موسیٰ) کو اپنی رحمت سے اس کا بھائی ہارون نبی بنا کر (مددگار کے طور پر) دیا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And We bestowed upon him, out of Our mercy, [a]his brother Aaron whom We made a Prophet.

20:30, 31; 25:36; 28:36.

English - Five Volume Translation

And We bestowed upon him, out of Our mercy, [a]his brother Aaron as a Prophet.[2196]

20:30, 31; 25:36; 28:36.

Commentary:

In 20:30 Aaron has been described as helper (وزیر) of Moses and in the present verse it is said that God bestowed Aaron upon Moses. This shows that Aaron was a follower of the Law revealed to Moses and held a subordinate position to him. It can safely be inferred from this that one Prophet can be subordinate to another Prophet.

اور اپنی مہربانی سے اس کے بھائی ہارونؑ کو نبی بنا کر اُسے (مدد گار کے طور پر) دیا

And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet.

اور ہم نے اسے اپنی رحمت سے ان کے بھائی ہارون کو نبی بنا کر عطا کیا
