اَفَرَءَیۡتَ الَّذِیۡ کَفَرَ بِاٰیٰتِنَا وَقَالَ لَاُوۡتَیَنَّ مَالًا وَّوَلَدًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Hast thou then seen him who disbelieves in Our Signs, and says, ‘I shall certainly be given wealth and children?’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

کیا تو نے اس پر غور کیا جس نے ہماری آیات کا انکار کر دیا اور کہا کہ ضرور میں مال اور اولاد دیا جاؤں گا۔

French

As-tu vu celui qui refuse de croire à Nos Signes, et dit : « Des biens et des enfants me seront certainement donnés. »

German

Hast du wohl den gesehen, der Unsere Zeichen leugnet und spricht: "Ganz gewiss werde ich Vermögen und Kinder erhalten"?

你未曾看见不信我迹象的人的情况吗? 他说: [d]“我必将获得财产和子女。”

Hai mai visto colui che non crede nei Nostri segni e dice: «Certamente mi saranno dati ricchezze e figli»?

¿No has visto a quien no cree en Nuestros Signos y dice: “ciertamente recibiré riqueza e hijos?”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا تو نے اس شخص کی حالت پر کبھی غور نہیں کیا جس نے ہمارے نشانوں کا انکار کیا اور کہا کہ مجھے یقیناً بہت[1] سا مال اور بہت سے بیٹے دیئے جائیں گے۔

اس میں عیسائیوں کا ذکر ہے جن کا یہ عقیدہ ہے کہ مسیح علیہ السلام کی آمد کے بعد موت کا سلسلہ اٹھ جائے گا اور اسی دنیا میں مسیحی دائمی زندگی پائیں گے۔ گویا جو ترقی ان کو اب حاصل ہے قیامت تک رہے گی۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Hast thou not seen him who disbelieves in Our Signs, and says, [c]‘I shall certainly be given great wealth and children?’[1796]

18:35; 74:13, 14.

The disbeliever sets great store by his wealth and children and takes great pride in them and so do the disbelieving proud nations of the West, with whom the Surah particularly deals.

English - Five Volume Translation

Hast thou not seen him who disbelieves in Our Signs, and says, [c]‘I shall certainly be given wealth and children?’[2217]

18:35; 74:13-14.

Commentary:

The verse means to say that the disbeliever sets great store by his wealth and children and takes great pride in them. "The disbeliever" in the verse represents the disbelieving proud nations of the west.

پھر تو نے دیکھا اُس شخص کو جو ہماری آیات کو ماننے سے انکار کرتا ہے اور کہتا ہے کہ میں تو مال اور اولاد سے نوازا ہی جاتا رہوں گا؟

Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?"
