Do they not know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they disclose?

کیا وہ نہیں جانتے کہ یقینا اللہ جانتا ہے جو وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور جو وہ ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا یہ (اس بات کو) نہیں جانتے کہ جو کچھ وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور جو کچھ وہ ظاہر کرتے ہیں اللہ اسے جانتا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Do they not know that [c]Allah knows what they keep secret and what they make known?

11:6; 35:39.

English - Five Volume Translation

Do they not know that [a]Allah knows what they conceal and what they disclose?[84]

11:6; 35:39.

Commentary:

The verse points out that the Jews know that their own scriptures teach that God knows both what is hidden and what is disclosed (Jer. 16:17; Dan. 2:22). So even if they do not disclose their prophecies to the Muslims, God knows the whole truth and He will judge accordingly.
