If these had been gods, they would not have come to it; and all will abide therein.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اگر یہ واقعۃً معبود ہوتے تو کبھی اُس میں وارد نہ ہوتے۔ اور سبھی اس میں لمبے عرصہ تک رہنے والے ہیں۔

French

Si ceux-là avaient été des dieux, ils n’y seraient pas descendus ; et tous y demeureront pendant longtemps.

German

Wären diese Götter gewesen, sie wären nicht dahin gekommen; doch sie müssen alle darin bleiben.

如果这 (你们所杜撰的假主) 事实上是真主的话, 那么, 这些人不致于进入火狱; 但他们都长期居住其中。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اگر یہ (مصنوعی خدا جن کو تم خدا قرار دیتے ہو) واقعہ میں خدا ہوتے تو یہ لوگ کیوں جہنم میں پڑتے اور یہ سب تو مدتوں اس میں پڑے رہیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

If these, as you allege, had been gods, they would not have entered it; and all will abide therein.

اگر یہ واقعی خدا ہوتے تو وہاں نہ جاتے اب سب کو ہمیشہ اسی میں رہنا ہے"

The verse means to say that if those who have been made the object of worship had been really worthy of worship and had deserved the veneration in which they were held or which they themselves demanded, they would not have been thrown into Hell.
