فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Then those whose good works are heavy — these will be prosperous;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس وہ جس کے (اعمال کے) پلڑے بھاری ہوئے تو یہی لوگ ہیں جو کامیاب ہونے والے ہیں۔

French

Alors ceux dont les balances seront lourdes par rapport à leurs bonnes œuvres, ceux-là qui seront prospères.

German

Dann werden die, deren gute Werke gewichtig sind, die Erfolgreichen sein.

Chinese

凡是 (善功的) [e]秤重的人, 就是成功者;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس جن کے وزن بھاری ہو جائیں گے‘ وہ لوگ بامراد ہوں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Then those [a]whose scales are heavy—these will be prosperous;

7:9; 101:7, 8.

English - Five Volume Translation

Then those [b]whose scales are heavy with good works—these will be prosperous;[2581]

7:9; 101:7-8.

Important Words:

موازین (good works) is the plural of میزان (a balance) and موزون (a thing that is weighed) and is derived from وزن. They say وزن الشیء i.e. he weighed the thing or he determined or estimated the weight of the thing. وزن الشیء means, the thing became heavy and weighty. وزن means, the act of weighing, or the weight of a thing, or weightiness. وزن الرجل means, the man was of weighty opinion (Aqrab & Lane).

اُس وقت جن کے پلڑے بھاری ہوں گے وہی فلاح پائیں گے

English - Sahih

And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful.

پھر جن کا پلہ بھاری ہوا تو وہی فلاح پائیں گے

Then (the one) whose (are) heavy his scales, then those - they (are) the successful.
