23:96

وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقَٰدِرُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And certainly We have the power to show thee that with which We threaten them.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور یقیناً ہم اس پر ضرور قادر ہیں کہ تجھے وہ دکھا دیں جس سے ہم ان کو ڈراتے ہیں۔

Et certainement, Nous avons le pouvoir de te montrer ce dont Nous les menaçons.

German

Wir haben wahrlich die Macht, dich schauen zu lassen, was Wir ihnen androhen.

E certamente Noi abbiamo il potere di mostrarti quello di cui li abbiamo minacciati.

En verdad tenemos el poder para mostrarte aquello con lo que les amenazamos.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم اس بات پر قادر ہیں کہ جو ان سے وعدہ کرتے ہیں تجھے دکھادیں[2]۔

یعنی تیری زندگی میں اس عذاب کا وعدہ پورا کر دیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And certainly [b]We have the power to show thee that which We have promised them.

40:78.

English - Five Volume Translation

And certainly [a]We have the power to show thee that with which We threaten them.[2575]

40:78.

Commentary:

This verse confirms the fulfilment of the prophecy and the prayer embodied in vv. 94, 95 above. The expression لقادرون (are able to do) which points to the Almightiness of God emphasizes the fact that the prayer and prophecy of the Holy Prophet embodied in the preceding two verses shall certainly be fulfilled.

اور حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ہم تمہاری آنکھوں کے سامنے ہی وہ چیز لے آنے کی پوری قدرت رکھتے ہیں جس کی دھمکی ہم انہیں دے رہے ہیں

English - Sahih

And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور ہم اس پر قادر ہیں کہ تجھے دکھا دیں جو ہم نے ان سے وعدہ کیا ہے

English - Talal Itani

And indeed We on that We show you what We have promised them surely able.
