قَالُوۡا لَئِنۡ لَّمۡ تَنۡتَہِ یٰلُوۡطُ لَتَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمُخۡرَجِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

They said, ‘If thou desist not, O Lot, thou wilt surely be one of the banished ones.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

انہوں نے کہا اے لوط! اگر تُو باز نہ آیا تو یقیناً تُو (اس بستی سے) نکالے جانے والوں میں سے ہوجائے گا۔

French

Ils dirent : « Si tu ne t’arrêtes pas, ô Lot, tu seras assurément du nombre des bannis. »

German

Sie sprachen: "Wenn du nicht ablässest, o Lot, so wirst du gewiss der Verbannten einer sein."

Chinese

[e]他们说: “鲁特啊! 如果你不停止 (你的行动), 那么, 你必将被驱逐。”

Dissero quelli: «Se non la smetti, Lot, certamente sarai tra quelli cacciati via.»

Respondieron: “Si no desistes, Oh Lot, serás en verdad uno de los desterrados”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

انہوں نے کہا‘ اے لوط! اگر تو باز نہ آیا تو تو ملک بدر کیے جانے والوں میں شامل ہو جائے گا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]They said, ‘if thou desist not, O Lot, thou wilt surely be banished.’[2129A]

7:83; 27:57.

Rajama-hu means, he stoned him, he banished him; excommunicated him, cut off all connections with him (Lane).

English - Five Volume Translation

[b]They said, ‘If thou desist not O Lot, thou wilt surely be one of the banished ones.’

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

انہوں نے کہا “اے لوطؑ، "اگر تو اِن باتوں سے باز نہ آیا تو جو لوگ ہماری بستیوں سے نکالے گئے ہیں اُن میں تو بھی شامل ہو کر رہے گا"

English - Sahih

They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted."

کہنے لگے اے لوط اگر تو ان باتوں سے باز نہ آیا تو ضرور تو نکال دیا جائے گا

They said, "If not you desist, O Lut! Surely, you will be of the ones driven out."
