فَکَذَّبُوۡہُ فَاَخَذَہُمۡ عَذَابُ یَوۡمِ الظُّلَّۃِ ۚ اِنَّہٗ کَانَ عَذَابَ یَوۡمٍ عَظِیۡمٍ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So they declared him to be a liar. Then the punishment of the day of overshadowing gloom overtook them. That was indeed the punishment of a dreadful day.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس انہوں نے اُسے جھٹلا دیا اور ان کو ایک سایہ کردینے والے مہلک بادل کے دن کے عذاب نے آپکڑا۔ یقیناً وہ ایک بہت بڑے دن کا عذاب تھا۔

French

Ils le déclarèrent donc menteur. Alors le châtiment du jour du nuage assombrissant destructeur les surprit. C’était vraiment là le châtiment d’un Jour Énorme.

Und sie erklärten ihn für einen Lügner. So ereilte sie die Strafe des Tages des überschattenden Düsters. Das war fürwahr die Strafe eines schrecklichen Tages.

但 (不顾他的教诲) 他们仍诬蔑他说谎。[c]於是他们遭受阴暗日子的刑罚。那确是重大日子的刑罚。

Quindi lo dichiararono un mentitore. Allora li raggiunse il castigo del giorno della nube ombrosa, il castigo di un giorno terribile.

Por tanto, lo declararon embustero. Entonces cayó sobre ellos el castigo de la penumbra tenebrosa. Ése fue en verdad el castigo de un día terrible.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

مگر (اس کے سمجھانے کے باوجود) انہوں نے اس کو جھٹلایا پس ان کو سایہ کے دن والے عذاب نے آپکڑا (یعنی گھنے اور دیرپا بادلوں کے عذاب نے) وہ یقیناً ایک بڑے بھاری دن کا عذاب تھا۔

پھر اسے جھٹلایا پھر انہیں سائبان والے دن کے عذاب نے پکڑ لیا بے شک وہ بڑے دن کا عذاب تھا
