English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
So the earthquake seized them and in their homes they lay prostrate upon the ground.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
تو انہیں (بھی) ایک سخت زلزلہ نے آپکڑا پس وہ اپنے گھروں میں اوندھے منہ جاگرے۔
French
Alors le tremblement de terre les saisit de sorte que, transformés en cadavres, ils gisent prostrés dans leurs maisons.
German
Dann erfasste sie das Erdbeben, und am Morgen lagen sie in ihren Wohnungen auf dem Boden hingestreckt.

پس ان کو ایک زلزلہ نے پکڑ لیا اور وہ اپنے گھروں میں گھٹنوں کے بل گرنے کی حالت میں پڑے رہے۔

مگر (اس کے سمجھانے کے باوجود) انہوں نے اس کو جھٹلایا پس ان کو سایہ کے دن والے عذاب نے آپکڑا (یعنی گھنے اور دیرپا بادلوں کے عذاب نے) وہ یقیناً ایک بڑے بھاری دن کا عذاب تھا۔
