26:29

قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ وَٱلْمَغْرِبِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Moses said, ‘The Lord of the East and of the West, and of all that is between the two, if you did but understand.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اس (یعنی موسیٰ) نے کہا (وہ) مشرق کا بھی ربّ ہے اور مغرب کا بھی اور اس کا بھی جو اِن دونوں کے درمیان ہے۔ (بہتر ہوتا) اگر تم عقل کرتے۔

French

Moïse dit : « Le Seigneur de l’Orient et de l’Occident, et de tout ce qui se trouve entre les deux, si seulement vous pouviez comprendre. »

German

(Moses) sprach: "Der Herr des Ostens und des Westens und dessen, was zwischen den beiden ist, wenn ihr es nur begreifen würdet."

(穆撒) 说: [d]“如果你们运用理智, (那么, 你们会了解) 众世界的养主就是东方和西方以及两者之间一切东西的养主。”

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(موسیٰ نے سمجھ لیا کہ وہ بات ٹلانا چاہتا ہے اور) کہا (رب العالمین) وہی ہے جو مشرق کا بھی رب ہے اور مغرب کا بھی (رب ہے) اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے (ان کا بھی رب ہے) بشرطیکہ تم عقل سے کام لو۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Moses said, [d]‘The Lord ofthe East and of the West,[2110] and of all that is between the two, if only you have sense.’

2:116; 55:18.

The verse refers to the vastness of God’s Kingdom in respect of directions and sides.

English - Five Volume Translation

Moses said, [c]‘The Lord of the East and of the West, and of all that is between the two, if you did but understand.’[2726]

Commentary:

With the words, 'Lord of the East and the West,' Moses completes his argument about the undisputed lordship of God over the entire universe. These words refer to the vastness of God’s kingdom in respect of directions and sides. They may also contain an effective hint to the falseness of the polytheistic beliefs of the Egyptians who worshipped the sun and therefore looked upon the East and the West as belonging to their own gods.

موسیٰؑ نے کہا "مشرق و مغرب اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے سب کا رب، اگر آپ لوگ کچھ عقل رکھتے ہیں"

English - Sahih

[Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason."

فرمایا مشر ق مغرب اور جو ان کے درمیان ہے سب کا پروردگار ہے اگر تم عقل رکھتے ہو
