فَكُبْكِبُوا۟ فِيهَا هُمْ وَٱلْغَاوُۥنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Then will they be thrown headlong therein, they and those who have gone astray,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس وہ اس میں اوندھے گرا دئیے جائیں گے نیز سرکش لوگ بھی۔

French

Alors, ils y seront jetés la tête la première, eux et ceux qui se sont égarés,

Dann werden sie kopfüber hineingestürzt werden, sie und die Irrenden,

(95-96) [a]然后他们、迷误的人和[b]伊布利司的军队, 都将统统地被投入其 (火狱) 中。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس اس وقت وہ (جھوٹے معبود اور کافر) اور گمراہ اورابلیس کے لشکر سارے کے سارے اس (دوزخ) میں اوندھے منہ گرا دیئے جائیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]Then will they be thrown headlong therein, they and those who have gone astray,

27:91.

Important Words:

کبکبوا (thrown headlong down) is derived from کب. They say کبه (kabbahu) i.e. he inverted it or turned it upside down. کبکب الرجل علی وجھه means, he threw down the man. کبکه means, he turned him over, one part upon another; he threw him from the top of a mountain or well; he threw him into a deep place or hollow. کبکبوا فیھا means, they shall be thrown prostrate therein; they shall be thrown so as to turn over and over until at length they come to a stop therein or they shall be thrown headlong down (Lane).
