قَالُوا۟ تَقَاسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِۦ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

They said, “Swear to each other by Allah that we will surely attack him and his family by night, and then we will say to his heir, ‘We witnessed not the destruction of his family, and most surely we are truthful.’”
English - Five Volume Translation
They said, “Swear one to another by Allah that we will surely attack him and his family by night, and then we will say to his heir, ‘We witnessed not the destruction of his family, and most surely we are truthful.’”[2849]
English - Short Commentary Translation
They said, “Swear one to another by Allah that we will surely attack him and his family by night, and then we will say to his heir,[2178A] ‘We witnessed not the destruction of his family, and most surely we are truthful.”
