وَیَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَتٰی ہٰذَا الۡوَعۡدُ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ وعدہ کب پورا ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو۔

French

Et ils disent : « Quand cette promesse sera-t-elle accomplie, si vous êtes véridiques ? »

German

Und sie sagen: "Wann wird diese Verheißung (erfüllt werden), wenn ihr die Wahrheit redet?"

Chinese

[e]他们说: “如果你们是诚实的, 那么, (惩罚的) 诺言将于什么时候 (实现)?”

Ed essi dicono: «Quando si compirà tale promessa, se siete veritieri?»

Spanish

Mas dicen: “¿Cuándo se cumplirá esta promesa, si sois veraces?”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور وہ کہتے ہیں اگر تم سچے ہو تو یہ (عذاب کا) وعدہ کب پورا ہوگا؟

English - Short Commentary Translation

[e]And they say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?’

10:49; 21:39; 34:30; 36:49.

English - Five Volume Translation

[b]And they say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?’[2861]

10:49; 21:39; 34:30; 36:49.

Commentary:

The disbelievers tauntingly ask the Holy Prophet not to refer to what had happened to other peoples in the past but to "let us know when the punishment about which you hold out to us a threat will overtake us."

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

وہ کہتے ہیں کہ "یہ دھمکی کب پُوری ہو گی اگر تم سچے ہو؟"

English - Sahih

And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?"

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور کہتے ہیں یہ وعدہ کب ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو

English - Talal Itani

And they say, "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful."
