28:65
وَقِيلَ ٱدْعُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَكُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَهُمْ وَرَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۚ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يَهْتَدُونَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And it will be said, ‘Call upon your partners.’ And they will call upon them, but they will not answer them. And they will see the punishment. Would that they had followed the guidance!
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ اپنے (بنائے ہوئے) شرکاءکو پکارو۔ پھر وہ انہیں پکاریں گے تو وہ ان کو کوئی جواب نہ دیں گے اور وہ عذاب کو دیکھیں گے۔ کاش کہ وہ ہدایت پاجاتے۔
French
Et il sera dit : « Invoquez vos soi-disant associés. » Et ils les invoqueront, mais ceux-ci ne leur répondront pas. Et ils verront le châtiment. Hélas, que n’ont-ils suivi la direction !
German
Und es wird gesprochen werden: "Ruft eure Götter an." Und sie werden sie anrufen, doch jene werden ihnen nicht antworten. Und sie werden die Strafe schauen. Wären sie doch dem rechten Weg gefolgt!

他们 (偶像崇拜者) 将被吩咐: [a]“你们呼唤 (你们所妄称的) 与安拉同等的崇拜对象吧!” 他们将呼唤他们, 但他们不回答他们。他们将看到 (固定的) 惩罚, (那时他们) 但愿获得正道。!

E sarà detto: «Invocate adesso i vostri cosiddetti compagni.» Ed essi li invocheranno, ma quelli non risponderanno. E vedranno la punizione. Magari avessero seguito la guida!
Spanish
Mas se dirá: “Llamad a vuestros compañeros”. Los llamarán pero no les contestarán. Y verán el castigo. ¡Ojalá hubiesen seguido la guía!
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور کہا جائے گا‘ تم اپنے شریکوں کو بلاؤ‘ پس وہ ان کو بلائیں گے مگر وہ ان کا جواب نہ دیں گے اور (مشرک) مقررہ عذاب دیکھ لیں گے۔ کاش کہ وہ ہدایت پاجاتے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And it will be said to the idolaters, [d]‘Now call upon your so-called partners.’ And they will call upon them, but they will not answer them. And they will see the punishment and wish that they had followed the guidance.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی
پھر اِن سے کہا جائے گا کہ پکارو اب اپنے ٹھیرائے ہوئے شریکوں کو یہ انہیں پکاریں گے مگر وہ اِن کو کوئی جواب نہ دیں گے اور یہ لوگ عذاب دیکھ لیں گے کاش یہ ہدایت اختیار کرنے والے ہوتے

And it will be said, "Invoke your 'partners' " and they will invoke them; but they will not respond to them, and they will see the punishment. If only they had followed guidance!

اور کہا جائے گا اپنے شریکو ں کو پکارو پھرانہیں پکاریں گے تو وہ انہیں جواب نہ دیں گے اور عذاب دیکھیں گے کاش یہ لوگ ہدایت پر ہوتے

It shall be said, 'Call you now upon your associates!' And they will call upon them, but they shall not answer them, and they shall see the chastisement-ah, if they had been guided!
English - Maududi
They will then be told: "Call upon those for help whom you declared to be Our associates." They will then call upon them but they will not answer them. They will have observed the chastisement in front of them. Would that they were guided!

(The sinners) will be told: "Invoke your partners." They will call on them, but they will not answer; and they will see the torment (and wish) if only they had come to guidance.
