29:17

وَاِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ اِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِہِ اعۡبُدُوا اللّٰہَ وَاتَّقُوۡہُ ۖ ذٰلِکُمۡ خَیۡرٌ لَّکُمۡ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And remember Abraham when he said to his people, ‘Worship Allah and fear Him. That is better for you if you understand.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور ابراہیم (کو بھی بھیجا تھا) جب اس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ اللہ کی عبادت کرو اور اسی کا تقویٰ اختیار کرو۔ یہ تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے۔ (بہتر ہوتا) اگر تم علم رکھتے۔

French

Et souviens-toi d’Abraham, quand il dit à son peuple : « Adorez Allāh et craignez-Le. Cela est mieux pour vous, si seulement vous saviez.

German

(Wir entsandten) auch Abraham, als er zu seinem Volke sprach: "Verehret Allah und fürchtet Ihn. Das ist besser für euch, wenn ihr es wüsstet.

(我也派遣了) 伊布拉欣 (做为他族人的使者), 当他对他的族人说: “你们要崇拜安拉, 并要敬畏他。如果你们知道, 这是对你们很好的;

E ricordati di Abramo, quando disse al suo popolo: «Adorate Allah e temeteLo. Ciò è meglio per voi, se solo sapeste.

Spanish

Y acordaos de Abraham, cuando dijo a su pueblo: “Adorad a Al‑lah y temedle. Sería mejor para vosotros, si supierais;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور (ہم نے) ابراہیم کو (بھی رسول بناکر بھیجا تھا) جب اس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا تھا کہ اللہ کی عبادت کرو اور اس کا تقویٰ اختیار کرو۔ اگر تم جانتے ہو تو یہ تمہارے لئے بہت اچھا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And We sent Abraham when he said to his people, ‘Worship Allah and fear Him. That is better for you, if only you knew;

English - Five Volume Translation

And We sent Abraham when he said to his people, ‘Worship Allah and fear Him. That is better for you, if you only knew.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور ابراہیمؑ کو بھیجا جبکہ اُس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا "اللہ کی بندگی کرو اور اُس سے ڈرو یہ تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے اگر تم جانو

English - Sahih

And [We sent] Abraham, when he said to his people, "Worship Allah and fear Him. That is best for you, if you should know.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور ابراھیم کو جب اس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ الله کی عبادت کرو اور اس سے ڈرو اگر تم سمجھ رکھتے ہو تو تمہارے لیے یہی بہتر ہے

And Ibrahim - when he said to his people, "Worship Allah and fear Him. That (is) better for you if you know.
