30:34
وَاِذَا مَسَّ النَّاسَ ضُرٌّ دَعَوۡا رَبَّہُمۡ مُّنِیۡبِیۡنَ اِلَیۡہِ ثُمَّ اِذَاۤ اَذَاقَہُمۡ مِّنۡہُ رَحۡمَۃً اِذَا فَرِیۡقٌ مِّنۡہُمۡ بِرَبِّہِمۡ یُشۡرِکُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when an affliction befalls men, they cry unto their Lord, turning to Him in repentance; then, when He has made them taste of mercy from Him, lo! a section of them associate partners with their Lord,
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور جب لوگوں کو کوئی تکلیف چُھو جائے تو وہ اپنے ربّ کو اُس کے حضور عاجزی سے جھکتے ہوئے پکارتے ہیں۔ پھر جب وہ انہیں اپنی طرف سے رحمت (کا مزا) چکھاتا ہے تو اچانک ان میں سے ایک فریق (والے) اپنے ربّ کا شریک ٹھہرانے لگتے ہیں۔
French
Et lorsqu’un malheur survient aux hommes, ils invoquent leur Seigneur, se tournant vers Lui avec repentir ; ensuite, lorsqu’Il leur fait goûter de Sa miséricorde, voilà qu’une partie d’entre eux se met à attribuer des associés à leur Seigneur,

Und wenn eine Drangsal die Menschen befällt, dann rufen sie zu ihrem Herrn, sich reuig zu Ihm wendend; hernach aber, wenn Er sie Seine Barmherzigkeit kosten lässt, siehe, dann stellen einige von ihnen ihrem Herrn Götter zur Seite,

E quando un'afflizione colpisce gli uomini, invocano il proprio Signore, volgendosi a Lui pentiti. Poi, dopo che Lui ha fatto gustare loro la Sua misericordia, ecco, una parte di essi associa altri al proprio Signore,

Cuando una aflicción cae sobre los hombres, invocan a su Señor, dirigiéndose a Él con arrepentimiento; pero luego, cuando les favorece para que gusten de Su misericordia, ¡Ay! un grupo de ellos asocian partícipes a su Señor,
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور جب انسانوں کو کوئی تکلیف پہنچے تو وہ اپنے رب کو اسی کی طرف جھکتے ہوئے پکارتے ہیں پھر جب اس کی طرف سے انہیں کوئی رحمت پہنچتی ہے تو ان میں سے ایک گروہ اپنے رب کے مدمقابل شریک بنانے لگ جاتا ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
[a]And when an affliction befalls people, they cry unto their Lord, turning sincerely to Him; then, when He has made them taste of mercy from Him, lo! a section of them associate partners with their Lord,

[a]And when an affliction befalls men, they cry unto their Lord, turning to Him in repentance; then, when He has made them taste of mercy from Him, lo! a section of them associate partners with their Lord,[3014]

Commentary:
Having referred in the previous few verses to the Unity of God as being the basic principle of all religions, this and the next three verses deal with Shirk, i.e. associating false gods with the One True God.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
لوگوں کا حال یہ ہے کہ جب انہیں کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو اپنے رب کی طرف رجوع کر کے اُسے پکارتے ہیں، پھر جب وہ کچھ اپنی رحمت کا ذائقہ انہیں چکھا دیتا ہے تو یکایک ان میں سے کچھ لوگ شرک کرنے لگتے ہیں

And when adversity touches the people, they call upon their Lord, turning in repentance to Him. Then when He lets them taste mercy from Him, at once a party of them associate others with their Lord,

اور ولوگوں کو جب کوئی دکھ پہنچتا ہے تو اپنے رب کی طرف رجوع ہو کر اسے پکارتے ہیں پھر جب وہ انہیں اپنی رحمت کا مزہ چکھاتا ہے توایک گروہ ان میں سے اپنے رب سے شرک کرنے لگتا ہے
