32:24

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ فَلَا تَكُن فِى مِرْيَةٍ مِّن لِّقَآئِهِۦ ۖ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And We did give Moses the Book — be not therefore in doubt as to the meeting with Him — and We made it a guidance for the children of Israel.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور یقیناً ہم نے موسیٰ کو بھی کتاب عطا کی۔ پس تو اُس (یعنی اللہ) کی ملاقات کے بارہ میں شک میں نہ رہ اور اُس کو ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کے لئے ہدایت بنایاتھا۔

French

Et Nous donnâmes certainement le Livre à Moïse – ne sois donc pas dans le doute sur la rencontre avec Lui – et Nous en fîmes une direction pour les Enfants d’lsraël.

German

Ganz gewiss gaben Wir Moses das Buch – sei darum nicht im Zweifel darüber, dass auch du es bekommst –, und Wir machten es zu einer Führung für die Kinder Israels.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم نے موسیٰ کو کتاب دی تھی پس تو بھی ایک مکمل کتاب کے ملنے کے متعلق شبہ نہ کر اور ہم نے اس (کتاب) کو بنی اسرائیل کے لئے ہدایت بنایا تھا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]And We indeed gave Moses the Book—be not, therefore, in doubt about receiving a perfect Book thyself—and We made it a guidance for the Children of Israel.

English - Five Volume Translation

[b]And We did give Moses the Book—be not therefore in doubt as to meeting with Him—and We made it a guidance for the children of Israel.[3071]

Commentary:

The pronoun ہ in the expression لقائه may be taken as referring to God or to the Book. In the second case the meaning would be, "be not therefore in doubt about receiving a perfect Book thyself."

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اِس سے پہلے ہم موسیٰؑ کو کتاب دے چکے ہیں، لہٰذا اُسی چیز کے ملنے پر تمہیں کوئی شک نہ ہونا چاہیے اُس کتاب کو ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کے لیے ہدایت بنایا تھا

English - Sahih

And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting. And we made the Torah guidance for the Children of Israel.

اور البتہ ہم نے موسیٰ کو کتاب دی تھی پھر آپ اس کے ملنے میں شک نہ کریں اور ہم نے ہی اسے بنی اسرائیل کے لیے راہ نما بنایا تھا

Indeed, We gave Moses the Book; so he not in doubt concerning the encounter with him; and We appointed it for a guidance to the Children of Israel.
