وَقَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أَكْثَرُ أَمْوَٰلًا وَأَوْلَٰدًا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they say, ‘We have more riches and children; and we are not going to be punished.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور انہوں نے کہا ہم اموال اور اولاد میں بہت زیادہ ہیں اور ہم عذاب نہیں دئیے جائیں گے۔

French

Et ils disent : « Nous avons davantage de biens et d’enfants ; et nous ne serons pas châtiés. »

German

Und sie sprachen: "Wir sind reicher an Gut und an Kindern; und wir werden nicht bestraft werden."

Chinese

他们 (也) 说: “我们有 (比你们) 更多的财富和子女。我们将永不会遭受刑罚。”

Italian

Ed essi dicono: «Noi abbiamo più abbondanza di beni e figli. Non saremo puniti.»

Spanish

Y dicen: “Tenemos más riquezas e hijos; no seremos castigados”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

نیز وہ یہ بھی کہتے رہے ہیں کہ ہم تم سے مال اور اولاد میں زیادہ ہیں اور ہم پر کبھی بھی عذاب نازل نہیں ہوگا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And they say, ‘We have more wealth and children; and we shall not be punished.’

English - Five Volume Translation

And they say, ‘We have more wealth and children; and we shall not be punished.’[3159]

Commentary:

All opposition to truth on the part of disbelievers springs from pride and arrogance, based on their wealth and power, their prestige, position and numbers.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

انہیں نے ہمیشہ یہی کہا کہ ہم تم سے زیادہ مال اولاد رکھتے ہیں اور ہم ہرگز سزا پانے والے نہیں ہیں

English - Sahih

And they said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished."

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور یہ بھی کہا کہ ہم مال اوراولاد میں تم سے بڑھ کر ہیں اور ہمیں کوئی عذاب نہ دیا جائے گا

And they say, "We (have) more wealth and children, and not we will be punished."
