قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّى يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Say, ‘Verily, my Lord enlarges the provision for whomsoever He pleases, and straitens it for whomsoever He pleases; but most men do not know.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تُو کہہ دے یقیناً میرا ربّ جس کے لئے چاہے رزق کشادہ کر دیتا ہے اور تنگ بھی کرتا ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے۔

French

Dis : « En vérité, mon Seigneur élargit les moyens des provisions pour qui Il veut, et Il les réduit pour qui Il veut ; mais la plupart des hommes ne savent pas. »

German

Sprich: "Fürwahr, mein Herr weitet und beschränkt die Mittel zum Unterhalt, wem Er will; jedoch die meisten Menschen wissen es nicht."

你 (对他们) 说: [d]“我的养主随自己意愿, 增加任何人的给养, 随自己意愿, 节缩任何人的给养; 但是大多数人都不知道 (这个真理)。”

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تو کہہ دے‘ میرا رب جس کے لئے چاہتا ہے رزق (کا دروازہ) کھول دیتا ہے اور جس کے لئے چاہتا ہے تنگ کر دیتا ہے لیکن لوگوں میں سے اکثر جانتے نہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Say, ‘Verily, [d]my Lord enlarges the provision for whomsoever He pleases, and straitens it for whomsoever He pleases; but most men do not know.’

English - Five Volume Translation

Say, ‘Verily, [a]my Lord enlarges the provision for whomsoever He pleases, and straitens it for whomsoever He pleases; but most men do not know.’[3160]

Commentary:

The verse seems to hold out a promise to those who are looked down upon and are oppressed and exploited, that by accepting the new Message, they will become rich and powerful. In God’s possession lie the treasures of the heavens and earth, and He has decreed that the poor and the downtrodden will now inherit the earth because they have accepted the Divine Message.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اے نبیؐ، اِن سے کہو میرا رب جسے چاہتا ہے کشادہ رزق دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے نپا تلا عطا کرتا ہے، مگر اکثر لوگ اس کی حقیقت نہیں جانتے

English - Sahih

Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it], but most of the people do not know."

کہہ دو میرا رب جس کے لیے چاہتا ہے روزی کشادہ کر دیتا ہے اور کم کر دیتا ہے اور لیکن اکثر آدمی نہیں جانتے
