۞ فَنَبَذۡنٰہُ بِالۡعَرَآءِ وَہُوَ سَقِیۡمٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Then We cast him on a bare tract of land, and he was sick;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس ہم نے اسے ایک کھلے میدان میں اچھال پھینکا جبکہ وہ سخت بیمار تھا۔

Ensuite Nous le jetâmes sur une plage découverte, et il fut pris de malaise ;

Dann warfen Wir ihn auf einen öden Strand, und er war krank;

我把他抛在陆地无草木的区域, 那时他是有病容的;

Allora Noi lo gettammo su un nudo tratto di terra, ed era malato,

Luego lo arrojamos a un trozo desnudo de terreno, y se encontraba enfermo;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پھر ہم نے اس کو ایک کھلے میدان میں پھینک[3] دیا‘ جبکہ وہ بیمار تھا۔

یعنی مچھلی کے دل میں تحریک کی کہ وہ قے کرکے اس کو میدان میں پھینک دے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Then We cast him on a bare tract of land, and he was sick;

English - Five Volume Translation

Then We cast him on a bare tract of land, and he was sick;[3356]

Important Words:

عراء (bare tract of land) is derived from عری which means, he was or became naked, bare or without clothing. They say عری من العیب i.e. he was or became free from fault, defector blemish. عراء means, a wide or spacious place or tract of land in which nothing is hidden; or the vacant surface of the earth or land or of a wide space of land (Lane).

آخرکار ہم نے اسے بڑی سقیم حالت میں ایک چٹیل زمین پر پھینک دیا

But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill.

پھر ہم نے اسے میدان میں ڈال دیا اور وہ بیمار تھا

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

یعنی مچھلی کے دل میں تحریک کی کہ وہ قے کرکے اس کو میدان میں پھینک دے۔
