37:49

وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And with them will be chaste women, with restrained looks and large beautiful eyes,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور ان کے پاس نظریں جھکائے رکھنے والیاں، فراخ چشم (دوشیزائیں) ہوں گی۔

Et avec eux seront des femmes chastes aux regards modestes, et aux yeux grands et beaux ;

Und bei ihnen werden (Keusche) sein, züchtig blickend aus großen Augen,

[g]他们将会有 (贞节的) 伴侣, 她们具有克制的, 大而且美的眼睛。

55:57.

E con essi vi saranno donne caste, dallo sguardo modesto e con occhi grandi, belli,

Con ellos estarán mujeres castas, de miradas comedidas y ojos grandes y hermosos;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ان کے پاس بڑی بڑی آنکھوں والی نیچی نظریں رکھنے والی عورتیں ہوں گی۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[d]And with them will be chaste women, with restrained looks and large beautiful eyes;[2482]

55:57.

‘In (women having large beautiful eyes) is the plural of ‘Aina’ which means, a woman having large beautiful eyes. The word also means a good or beautiful word or saying. Ardun ‘Aina’u means, green or black earth (Lane). History bears testimony to the fact that Muslims were endowed with all the blessings mentioned in the foregoing verses. They had gardens of bliss; they sat on thrones and enjoyed power and dominion; they had all the innocent pleasures of life; they had beautiful chaste women as their spouses and, over and above all this, 'God was well-pleased with them and they were well- pleased with Him' (58:23). This was their greatest achievement.

English - Five Volume Translation

[b]And with them will be chaste women, with restrained looks and large beautiful eyes.[3302]

55:57.

Important Words:

عین (women having large beautiful eyes) is the plural of عیناء which means, a woman having large beautiful eyes. It also means a good or beautiful word or saying. ارض عیناء means, green or black earth (Lane & Aqrab).

اور ان کے پاس نگاہیں بچانے والی، خوبصورت آنکھوں والی عورتیں ہوں گی

And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes,
