38:5

وَعَجِبُوۡۤا اَنۡ جَآءَہُمۡ مُّنۡذِرٌ مِّنۡہُمۡ ۖ وَقَالَ الۡکٰفِرُوۡنَ ہٰذَا سٰحِرٌ کَذَّابٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they wonder that a Warner has come to them from among themselves; and the disbelievers say, ‘This is a magician, a great liar.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور انہوں نے تعجب کیا کہ ان کے پاس انہی میں سے کوئی ڈرانے والا آیا۔ اور کافروں نے کہا یہ سخت جھوٹا جادوگر ہے۔

French

Et ils s’étonnent qu’un Avertisseur soit venu à eux de parmi eux ; et les mécréants disent : « Celui-ci est un magicien et un grand menteur.

German

Und sie wundern sich, dass ein Warner zu ihnen gekommen ist aus ihrer Mitte; und die Ungläubigen sagen: "Das ist ein Zauberer, ein Lügner.

[d]他们惊奇, 他们的民族中有一个警告者来到他们那里; 不信者说: “这是一个魔术师, 一个善于说谎者。

E si meravigliano perché un ammonitore li ha raggiunti, suscitato in mezzo a loro. E i miscredenti dicono: «Costui è uno stregone, un gran bugiardo.

Spanish

Se asombran de que les haya llegado un Amonestador de entre ellos mismos; y los incrédulos dicen: “Es un mago, un gran embustero”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور وہ تعجب کرتے ہیں کہ ان کے پاس انہی کی قوم سے ہوشیار کرنے والا آ گیا۔ اور کافر کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تو ایک فریبی (اور) جھوٹا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[d]And they wonder that a Warner has come to them from among themselves; and the disbelievers say, ‘This is a sorcerer, a great liar.

7:64.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]And they wonder that a Warner has come to them from among themselves; and the disbelievers say, ‘This is a magician, a great liar.[3376]

7:64.

Commentary:

The greatest obstacle in the way of disbelievers to accept the truth has always been that they would not pledge their allegiance to a man who is just one of them.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اِن لوگوں کو اس بات پر بڑا تعجب ہوا کہ ایک ڈرانے والا خود اِنہی میں سے آگیا منکرین کہنے لگے کہ "یہ ساحرہے، سخت جھوٹا ہے

And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar.

اور انہوں نے تعجب کیا کہ ان کے پاس انہیں میں سے ڈرانے والا آیا اور منکروں نے کہا کہ یہ تو ایک بڑا جھوٹا جادوگر ہے
