39:69

وَنُفِخَ فِی الصُّوۡرِ فَصَعِقَ مَنۡ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَنۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ اِلَّا مَنۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ ۖ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فِیۡہِ اُخۡرٰی فَاِذَا ہُمۡ قِیَامٌ یَّنۡظُرُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And the trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are in the earth will fall down in a swoon, except those whom Allah will please to exempt. Then will it be blown a second time, and lo! they will be standing, awaiting.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور صور میں پھونکا جائے گا تو غش کھاکر گر پڑے گا جو آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو زمین میں ہے سوائے اُس کے جسے اللہ چاہے۔ پھر اس میں دوبارہ پھونکا جائے گا تو اچانک وہ کھڑے ہوئے دیکھ رہے ہوں گے۔

French

Et l’on sonnera de la trompe, et tous ceux qui sont aux cieux et tous ceux qui sont sur la terre tomberont évanouis, hormis ceux qu’il plaira à Allāh d’épargner. Ensuite on en sonnera une seconde fois, et voilà qu’ils seront debout, attendant le jugement.

German

Und in die Posaune wird gestoßen, und alle, die in den Himmeln sind, und alle, die auf Erden sind, werden ohnmächtig (niederstürzen), mit Ausnahme derjenigen, die Allah will. Dann wird sie wiederum geblasen, und siehe, sie werden wartend stehen.

Chinese

[e]号角一响, 凡在天地间的, 除了安拉所意欲 (免除者) 之外, 都将昏晕 (倒下)。继而号角再响, 他们将立刻站起来等候[1147](审判)。

这节经文看来可用于后世的复生。可是这节经文也可用于安拉派遣的导师即将降临在这个世界上之前人们的精神状态。经文中把安拉派遣的导师的降临比作号角的吹响。按照这一比喻, “都将昏晕倒下” 这句话的意思可以是, 在安拉派遣的复兴者即降临之前人们的精神麻痹状态; 而 “他们将立刻站起来”, 这句话的意思可以是, 在复兴者出现后他们见到并走上了正道。

Italian

E si darà soffio alla tromba e tutti coloro che sono nei cieli e tutti coloro che sono sulla terra cadranno in un sonno profondo, ad eccezione di quelli che Allah vorrà risparmiare. Allora si darà soffio alla tromba una seconda volta, ed ecco, si metteranno in piedi, in attesa del giudizio.

Spanish

Sonará la trompeta y todos los que estén en los cielos y todos los que estén en la tierra caerán desvanecidos, excepto aquellos a quienes Al‑lah guste librar. Después sonará una segunda vez, e inmediatamente se pondrán de pie, mirando alrededor.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور بگل میں پھونکا جائے گا تو آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کوئی بھی ہے اس پر ایک بے ہوشی طاری ہو جائے گی سوائے اس (شخص) کے جس کو اللہ چاہے گا (کہ بچالے) پھر دوسری دفعہ بگل میں پھونکا جائے گا اور اچانک وہ سب (اپنے متعلق فیصلہ کا) انتظار کرتے ہوئے کھڑے ہو جائیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]And the trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are in the earth will fall down in a swoon, except those whom Allah will be pleased to spare. Then will it be blown a second time, and lo! they will be standing, awaiting[2588] judgement.

18:100; 23:102; 36:52; 50:21; 69:14.

The verse seems to apply to Resurrection in the next life. But it may also apply to the spiritual condition of people immediately before the appearance of a Divine Teacher in the world whose advent is here likened to the blowing of the trumpet. In view of this simile the words, 'will fall down into a swoon,' may signify spiritual torpor of the people immediately before the appearance of a Divine Reformer and the words, 'will be standing, awaiting,' may signify their having seen and followed the right path after he has made his appearance.

[a]And the trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are in the earth will fall down in a swoon, except those whom Allah will please to exempt. Then will it be blown a second time, and lo! they will be standing, awaiting judgement.[3486]

Commentary:

The verse seems to apply to Resurrection in the next life. But it may also apply to the spiritual condition of people immediately before the appearance of a Divine teacher in the world whose advent is here likened to the blowing of the trumpet. اور اُس روز صور پھونکا جائے گا اور وہ سب مر کر گر جائیں گے جو آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہیں سوائے اُن کے جنہیں اللہ زندہ رکھنا چاہے پھر ایک دوسرا صور پھونکا جائے گا اور یکایک سب کے سب اٹھ کر دیکھنے لگیں گے

English - Sahih

And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on.

اور صور پھونکا جائے گا تو بے ہوش ہو جاے گا جو کوئی آسمانوں اورجو کوئی زمین میں ہے مگر جسے الله چاہے پھر وہ دوسری دفعہ صور پھونکا جائے گا تو یکایک وہ کھڑے دیکھ رہے ہوں گے

And (will) be blown [in] the trumpet, then (will) fall dead whoever (is) in the heavens and whoever (is) on the earth except whom Allah wills. Then (it will) be blown [in it] a second time, and behold! They (will be) standing waiting.

For the Trumpet shall be blown, and whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is in the earth shall swoon, save whom God wills. Then it shall be blown again, and lo, they shall stand, beholding.

And the Trumpet shall be blown and all who are in the heavens and the earth shall fall down dead save those whom Allah wills. Then the Trumpet shall be blown again, and lo! all of them will be standing and looking on.

When the trumpet blast is sounded whoever is in the heavens and the earth will swoon away, except those God please. When the blast is sounded the second time, they will stand up all expectant.

The Trumpet will (just) be sounded, when all that are in the heavens and on earth will swoon, except such as it will please Allah (to exempt). Then will a second one be sounded, when, behold, they will be standing and looking on!
