مَّنۡ کَانَ یُرِیۡدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنۡیَا فَعِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنۡیَا وَالۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۚ وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ سَمِیۡعًۢا بَصِیۡرًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Whoso desires the reward of this world, then let him remember that with Allah is the reward of this world and of the next; and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

جو دنیا کا اجر چاہتا ہے تو اللہ کے پاس دنیا کا اجر بھی ہے اور آخرت کا بھی۔ اور اللہ بہت سننے والا (اور) بہت دیکھنے والا ہے۔

French

Quiconque désire la récompense d’ici-bas, qu’il se souvienne qu’avec Allāh est la récompense d’ici-bas comme celle de l’au-delà ; et Allāh entend tout et voit tout.

German

Wer den Lohn dieser Welt begehrt – bei Allah ist der Lohn dieser Welt und im Jenseits; und Allah ist allhörend, allsehend.

Chinese

[d]凡欲在今世获报的, (他们要注意听:) 在安拉那里有今世和后世的 (两种) 报酬。安拉是至听的, 全视的。

Italian

Chi desideri la ricompensa di questo mondo, ricordi che con Allah è la ricompensa di questo mondo e dello prossimo; e Allah è Colui che tutto ode, che tutto vede.

Spanish

Quien desee la recompensa de este mundo, que recuerde que en Al-lah está la recompensa de este mundo y la del futuro; pues Al-lah es Quien todo lo Oye y todo lo Ve.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

جو شخص دنیا کا بدلہ چاہتا ہو تو (وہ سن لے کہ) اللہ کے پاس دنیوی اور اخروی (دونوں قسم کے) انعام ہیں اور اللہ بہت سننے والا (اور) دیکھنے والا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]Whoso desires the reward of this world, then let him know that with Allah is the reward of this world and of the Hereafter; and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

English - Five Volume Translation

[b]Whoso desires the reward of this world, then let him remember that with Allah is the reward of this world and of the next; and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.[599]

Commentary:

The verse contains a beautiful exhortation to the people to seek after the good things of the world to come, along with those of the present. When God can bestow on man in an ample measure both the good things of this world and the blessings of the life to come, why should man neglect to strive after both, particularly the good things of the next world which are far superior and are everlasting. Being All-Hearing, God hears our prayers and we can get what we desire by praying to Him; and being All-Seeing, He knows our needs and requirements and He can satisfy them even without our asking for them, in case we are not aware of any of our needs.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

جو شخص محض ثواب دنیا کا طالب ہو اُسے معلوم ہونا چاہیے کہ اللہ کے پاس ثواب دنیا بھی ہے اور ثواب آخرت بھی، اور اللہ سمیع و بصیر ہے

English - Sahih

Whoever desires the reward of this world - then with Allah is the reward of this world and the Hereafter. And ever is Allah Hearing and Seeing.

جو شخص دنیا کا ثواب چاہتا ہے تو الله کے ہاں دنیا اور آخرت کا ثواب ہے اور الله سننے والا دیکھنے والا ہے

English - Talal Itani

Whoever [is] desires reward (of) the world - then with Allah (is the) reward (of) the world and the Hereafter. And is Allah All-Hearing, All-Seeing.
