40:17

يَوْمَ هُم بَٰرِزُونَ ۖ لَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِنْهُمْ شَىْءٌ ۚ لِّمَنِ ٱلْمُلْكُ ٱلْيَوْمَ ۖ لِلَّهِ ٱلْوَٰحِدِ ٱلْقَهَّارِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

The day when they will all come forth; nothing concerning them will be hidden from Allah. ‘Whose is the kingdom this day?’ ‘It is Allah’s, the One, the Most Supreme.

جس دن وہ نکل کھڑے ہوں گے ان کا کچھ حال اللہ پر مخفی نہ ہوگا۔ آج کے دن بادشاہت کس کی ہے؟ اللہ ہی کی ہے جو اکیلا (اور) صاحبِ جبروت ہے۔

French

Le jour où ils comparaîtront tous ; rien de ce qui les concerne ne sera caché à Allāh. « A qui est le royaume ce Jour ? » « A Allāh, l’Unique, le Tout-Dominant de par Sa majesté et Sa gloire. »

dem Tage, an dem sie vortreten werden und nichts von ihnen vor Allah verborgen bleibt. Wessen ist das Reich an diesem Tage? Allahs, des Einigen, des Allbezwingenden.

有朝一日, 他们 (都) 来到 (安拉) 面前, [c]任何事物对于他都不是隐藏的, 那一天王国属于[d]谁? 只是独一无二、至高无上的安拉的。

El día en que comparecerán todos; nada de lo que se refiera a ellos estará oculto para Al-lah. “¿A quien pertenece el reino en este día?”. “A Al-lah, el Único, el Sumo Supremo”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

جس دن وہ سب کے سب لوگ خدا کے سامنے آ حاضر ہوں گے‘ ان کی کوئی چیز بھی اللہ پر مخفی نہ ہوگی اس دن بادشاہت کس کو حاصل ہوگی؟ (صرف) اللہ کو جو اکیلا ہے (اور) سب پر غالب ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

The day when they will all come forth; [a]nothing concerning them will be hidden from Allah. [b]‘Whose is the Kingdom this day!’ It is Allah’s, the One, the Most Supreme.

Commentary:

The verse signifies that disbelievers will be brought face to face with the evil consequences of their wicked deeds on the Day of Reckoning. These deeds were never hidden from God but on the Day of Judgement they will appear in an embodied form before the eyes of the disbelievers themselves. The words "this day" may signify the Last Judgement Day, or the hour of reckoning of disbelievers in this very life. This hour of reckoning came upon the disbelieving Quraish on the day of the Fall of Mecca when the realization dawned upon them that "the kingdom was Allah’s—the One, the Most Supreme."

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

وہ دن جبکہ سب لوگ بے پردہ ہوں گے، اللہ سے ان کی کوئی بات بھی چھپی ہوئی نہ ہو گی (اُس روز پکار کر پوچھا جائے گا) آج بادشاہی کس کی ہے؟ (سارا عالم پکار اٹھے گا) اللہ واحد قہار کی

English - Sahih

The Day they come forth nothing concerning them will be concealed from Allah. To whom belongs [all] sovereignty this Day? To Allah, the One, the Prevailing.

جس دن وہ سب نکل کھڑے ہوں گے الله پر ان کی کوئی بات چھپی نہ رہے گی آج کس کی حکومت ہے الله ہی کی جو ایک ہے بڑا غالب

(The) Day they come forth, not is hidden from Allah about them anything. For whom (is) the Dominion this Day? For Allah the One, the Irresistible.

the day they sally forth, and naught of theirs is hidden from God. 'Whose is' the Kingdom today?' 'God's, the One, the Omnipotent.

the Day when they will emerge and nothing of them shall be hidden from Allah. (On that Day they will be asked): “Whose is the kingdom today?” (The whole world will cry out): “It is Allah's, the One, the Overpowering.”
