40:21

وَاللّٰہُ یَقۡضِیۡ بِالۡحَقِّ ۖ وَالَّذِیۡنَ یَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖ لَا یَقۡضُوۡنَ بِشَیۡءٍ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ ہُوَ السَّمِیۡعُ الۡبَصِیۡرُ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And Allah judges with truth, but those on whom they call beside Him cannot judge at all. Surely, Allah is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور اللہ حق کے ساتھ فیصلہ کرتا ہے اور جن کو وہ لوگ اس کے سوا پکارتے ہیں وہ کسی چیز کا بھی فیصلہ نہیں کرتے۔ یقیناً اللہ ہی ہے جو بہت سننے والا (اور) گہری نظر رکھنے والا ہے۔

French

Et Allāh juge avec vérité, mais ceux à qui ils en appellent en dehors de Lui ne peuvent juger de rien. Assurément, Allāh est Celui Qui entend tout, Qui voit tout.

German

Allah richtet in Gerechtigkeit; die aber, die sie statt Ihn anrufen, können ganz und gar nicht richten. Wahrlich, Allah ist der Allhörende, der Allsehende.

Chinese

安拉常以真理作出判决。但除开安拉, 他们呼唤的那些 (崇拜对象) 根本不能判决任何事情。安拉确是全听的, 全视的。

Italian

E Allah giudica con verità, mentre coloro che essi invocano, all'infuori di Lui, non giudicano nulla. Per certo, Allah è Colui che tutto ode, che tutto vede.

Spanish

Y Al-lah juzga con verdad, mientras que aquellos a quienes invocan fuera de Al-lah no deciden nada. En verdad, Al-lah es Quien Todo lo Oye, Quien todo lo Ve.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اللہ ہمیشہ انصاف کے مطابق فیصلہ کرتا ہے اور جن کو یہ لوگ خدا کے سوا پکارتے ہیں‘ وہ کوئی بھی فیصلہ نہیں کرتے۔ اللہ یقیناً بہت سننے والا (اور) بہت دیکھنے والا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And Allah judges with truth, but those upon whom they call beside Him cannot judge at all. Surely, Allah is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.

English - Five Volume Translation

And Allah judges with truth, [c]but those on whom they call beside Him cannot judge at all. Surely, Allah is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور اللہ ٹھیک ٹھیک بے لاگ فیصلہ کریگا رہے وہ جن کو (یہ مشرکین) اللہ کو چھوڑ کر پکارتے ہیں، وہ کسی چیز کا بھی فیصلہ کرنے والے نہیں ہیں بلاشبہ اللہ ہی سب کچھ سننے اور دیکھنے والا ہے

English - Sahih

And Allah judges with truth, while those they invoke besides Him judge not with anything. Indeed, Allah - He is the Hearing, the Seeing.

اور الله ہی انصاف کے ساتھ فیصلہ کرے گا اور جنہیں وہ اس کے سوا پکارتے ہیں وہ کچھ بھی فیصلہ نہیں کر سکتے بیشک الله ہی سب کچھ سننے والا دیکھنے والا ہے

English - Talal Itani

And Allah judges in truth, while those (whom) they invoke besides Him not they judge with anything. Indeed, Allah - He (is) the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.

Chinese Commentary ^*

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

English - Arberry

God shall decide justly, and those they call on, apart from Him, shall not decide by any means. surely God is the All-hearing, the All-seeing.

English - Maududi

Allah will judge with justice, whereas those whom they call upon beside Him cannot judge at all. Surely Allah -- and He alone -- is All- Hearing, All-Seeing.

English - Ahmed Ali

God decides with justice. But those they call apart from Him can not adjudge in the least. Verily God is all-hearing, all-perceiving.

And Allah will judge with (justice and) Truth: but those whom (men) invoke besides Him, will not (be in a position) to judge at all. Verily it is Allah (alone) Who hears and sees (all things).
