إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَءَاتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

The Hour will surely come; there is no doubt about it; yet most men believe not.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یقیناً ساعت ضرور آکر رہے گی۔ اس میں کوئی شک نہیں لیکن اکثر لوگ ایمان نہیں لاتے۔

L’Heure viendra assurément ; il n’y a aucun doute à ce propos ; pourtant la plupart des hommes ne croient pas.

Die "Stunde" kommt gewiss; daran ist kein Zweifel; doch glauben die meisten Menschen nicht.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اس میں کوئی شک نہیں کہ تباہی کی گھڑی[1] ضرور آنے والی ہے‘ لیکن اکثر لوگ ایمان نہیں لاتے۔

اس جگہ اَلسَّاعَۃ سے دنیوی تباہی کی گھڑی بھی مراد ہو سکتی ہے اور اُخروی بھی۔ لیکن دنیوی تباہی کی گھڑی چونکہ کفار کو نظر آسکتی ہے اس لئے اس کو مقدم سمجھنا چاہیے اور اُخروی تباہی کی گھڑی چونکہ نظر نہیں آسکتی اس لئے اس کو مؤخر سمجھنا چاہیے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]The Hour of punishment will, surely, come; there is no doubt about it; yet most men believe not.

15:86; 20:16.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]The Hour will surely come; there is no doubt about it; yet most men believe not.[3537]

15:86; 20:16.

Commentary:

This verse reinforces the argument given in the previous verse and means to say that the "Hour" of the ultimate vanquishment of the forces of darkness and the triumph of Islam is fast approaching. It is as certain as anything, but most men are so constituted that they would not believe in the "Hour" unless they actually feel its impact.

یقیناً قیامت کی گھڑی آنے والی ہے، اس کے آنے میں کوئی شک نہیں، مگر اکثر لوگ نہیں مانتے
