41:39

فَإِنِ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فَٱلَّذِينَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُۥ بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْـَٔمُونَ ۩

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

But if they turn away with disdain they do it to their own detriment, while those who are with thy Lord glorify Him night and day, and they are never wearied.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس اگر وہ تکبر کریں تو (جان لیں کہ) وہ لوگ جو تیرے ربّ کے حضور رہتے ہیں رات اور دن اُس کی تسبیح کرتے ہیں اور وہ تھکتے نہیں۔

French

Mais s’ils se montrent orgueilleux, alors qu’ils sachent que ceux qui sont auprès de ton Seigneur Le glorifient nuit et jour, et ils ne s’en lassent jamais.

Wenn sie sich aber in Hochmut abwenden, so lobpreisen Ihn Nacht und Tag diejenigen, die deinem Herrn nahe sind, und sie werden niemals müde.

但如果他们骄傲自大, (转变了崇拜的方向, 他们自己将遭受损害。) 而那些接近你养主的人, 他们日夜赞颂他, 永不厌倦。

Ma se voltano le spalle con sdegno, lo fanno a loro danno, mentre coloro che sono con il tuo Signore, Lo glorificano notte e giorno, e non si stancano mai.

Spanish

Pero si rehúsan con desdén, lo hacen en perjuicio propio, mientras que los que están con tu Señor lo glorifican día y noche, sin cansarse nunca.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پھر اگر یہ لوگ تکبر کریں‘ تو یاد رکھ کہ وہ لوگ جو تیرے رب کے مقرب ہیں وہ رات اور دن اسی کی تسبیح کرتے ہیں اور وہ کبھی نہیں تھکتے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

But if they turn away with disdain, they do it to their own detriment, while those who are with thy Lord glorify Him night and day, and they are never wearied.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]But if they turn away with disdain, they do it to their own detriment, while those who are with thy Lord glorify Him night and day, and they are never wearied.[3588]

Important Words:

یسئمون (are wearied) is derived from سئم which means, he turned away with disgust from it; he was disgusted with it or loathed it or became weary of it. سأمة which is infinitive-noun is synonymous with ملال (weariness) and also exceeds it (Lane & Aqrab).

لیکن اگر یہ لوگ غرور میں آ کر اپنی ہی بات پر اڑے رہیں تو پروا نہیں، جو فرشتے تیرے رب کے مقرب ہیں وہ شب و روز اس کی تسبیح کر رہے ہیں اور کبھی نہیں تھکتے

English - Sahih

But if they are arrogant - then those who are near your Lord exalt Him by night and by day, and they do not become weary.

پھر اگر وہ تکبر کریں تو وہ لوگ جو آپ کے رب کے پاس ہیں رات دن اس کی تسبیح کرتے ہیں اور تھکتے نہیں

English - Talal Itani

But if they are arrogant, then those who (are) near your Lord, glorify Him by night and day. And they (do) not tire.

Chinese Commentary ^*

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

English - Arberry

And if they wax proud, yet those who are with thy Lord do glorify Him by night and day, and grow not weary.

But if they wax proud (and persist in their attitude, it does not matter, for) the angels near-stationed to your Lord glorify Him night and day, and never grow weary.

But if they become haughty (then remember) that those who are close to your Lord sing His praises night and day and do not grow weary of (doing so).

But is the (Unbelievers) are arrogant, (no matter): for in the presence of thy Lord are those who celebrate His praises by night and by day. And they never flag (nor feel themselves above it).
