وَجَعَلُوۡا لَہٗ مِنۡ عِبَادِہٖ جُزۡءًا ۚ اِنَّ الۡاِنۡسٰنَ لَکَفُوۡرٌ مُّبِیۡنٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And a portion of His servants they assert to be His children. Indeed man is clearly ungrateful.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور انہوں نے اس کے بندوں میں سے بعض کو اس کا جزو قرار دے دیا۔ یقینا انسان کھلا کھلا ناشکرا ہے۔

French

Et ils prétendent que certains de Ses serviteurs sont des composants de Son Être. En vérité, l’homme est manifestement ingrat.

German

Und aus Seinen Dienern machen sie einen Teil Seiner Selbst. Der Mensch ist wahrlich offenkundig undankbar.

他们把他的一部分仆人定为他的 (子女)[1222]。人的确是显然不感谢的。

Ed essi asseriscono che alcuni dei Suoi servi sono parte di Lui. In verità, l'uomo è manifestamente ingrato.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(مگر حال یہ ہے کہ) انہوں نے اس (خدا) کے لئے اس کے بندوں میں سے ایک حصہ (یعنی بیٹیاں) تجویز کر رکھا ہے انسان یقیناً کھلا کھلا ناشکر گذار ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And they assign to Him a part of His servants as His children.[2672A] Indeed man is manifestly ungrateful.

The reference is to the Christian doctrine of Jesus being God’s son.

English - Five Volume Translation

And they assign to him a portion of His servants as His children. Indeed man is clearly ungrateful.[3652]

Commentary:

The Surah had opened with the subject of revelation, of which the basic purpose is the establishment of Divine Unity. This and the following few verses repudiate the idolatrous doctrine of assigning sons and daughters to God.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

(یہ سب کچھ جانتے اور مانتے ہوئے بھی) اِن لوگوں نے اُس کے بندوں میں سے بعض کو اس کا جز بنا ڈالا، حقیقت یہ ہے کہ انسان کھلا احسان فراموش ہے

English - Sahih

But they have attributed to Him from His servants a portion. Indeed, man is clearly ungrateful.

اورلوگوں نے اس کے بندوں کو اس کی اولاد بنا دیا بے شک انسان صریح ناشکرا ہے
