اِنۡ ہُوَ اِلَّا عَبۡدٌ اَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَیۡہِ وَجَعَلۡنٰہُ مَثَلًا لِّبَنِیۡۤ اِسۡرٰٓءِیۡلَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

He was only Our servant on whom We bestowed Our favour, and We made him an example for the children of Israel.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

وہ تو محض ایک بندہ تھا جس پر ہم نے انعام کیااور اسے بنی اسرائیل کے لیے ایک (قابل تقلید) مثال بنا دیا۔

French

Il n’était rien d’autre qu’un serviteur à qui Nous avions accordé Notre faveur, et Nous avions fait de lui un exemple pour les Enfants d’Israël.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

وہ (یعنی عیسیٰ) تو صرف ایک بندہ تھا جس پر ہم نے انعام کیا تھا اور اس کو بنی اسرائیل کے لئے بطور عبرت کے بنایا تھا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

He was only Our servant, on whom We bestowed Our favour, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.

He was only Our servant, [a]on whom We bestowed Our favour, and We made him an example for the children of Israel.[3679]

3:50; 61:7.

Commentary:

The verse gives the reason why Jesus has not been included among the false gods of the idolaters and has been spared the denunciation and condemnation to which they have been subjected. The reason is that he was a righteous servant of God and a model of virtue and piety upon whom God had bestowed His blessings.

ابن مریمؑ اِس کے سوا کچھ نہ تھا کہ ایک بندہ تھا جس پر ہم نے انعام کیا اور بنی اسرائیل کے لیے اپنی قدرت کا ایک نمونہ بنا دیا

English - Sahih

Jesus was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.

وہ تو ہمارا ایک بندہ ہے جس پر ہم نے انعام کیا اور اسے بنی اسرائیل کے لیے نمونہ بنا دیا تھا
