46:35
وَیَوۡمَ یُعۡرَضُ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا عَلَی النَّارِ اَلَیۡسَ ہٰذَا بِالۡحَقِّ ۖ قَالُوۡا بَلٰی وَرَبِّنَا ۚ قَالَ فَذُوۡقُوا الۡعَذَابَ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَکۡفُرُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And on the day when those who disbelieve will be brought before the Fire, it will be said to them, ‘Is not this the truth?’ They will say, ‘Aye, by our Lord.’ He will say, ‘Then taste the punishment, because you disbelieved.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور یاد رکھو اُس دن کو جس دن وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کفر کیا آگ کے سامنے پیش کئے جائیں گے۔ کیا یہ سچ نہیں تھا؟ وہ کہیں گے کیوں نہیں۔ ہمارے رب کی قسم! (یہ سچ تھا)۔ وہ ان سے کہے گا پس عذاب چکھو۔ اس وجہ سے کہ تم انکار کیا کرتے تھے۔
French
Et le jour où ceux qui refusent de croire seront présentés au Feu, il leur sera dit : « Ceci n’est-il pas la vérité ? » lls diront : « Mais si, par notre Seigneur ! » Il dira : « Alors goûtez le châtiment, parce que vous avez refusé de croire. »

Und an dem Tage, wenn die Ungläubigen dem Feuer ausgesetzt werden: "Ist dies nicht die Wahrheit?" Sie werden sprechen: "Ja, bei unserem Herrn." Er wird sprechen: "So kostet nun die Strafe dafür, dass ihr ungläubig wart."

当不信者将被带到火狱的那天, (有人向他们说:) “这不是真理?” 他们说: “是, 凭我们的养主立誓, (这就是真理。)” 他将说: “因为你们业已不信, 所以尝受惩罚吧!”

E nel giorno in cui quelli che non credono saranno condotti davanti al fuoco, sarà detto loro: «Non è questa la verità?» Essi risponderanno: «Sì, per il nostro Signore.» Egli dirà: «Gustate allora il castigo, perché non avete creduto.»
Spanish
En el día en que los incrédulos sean llevados ante el Fuego, se les dirá: “¿No es ésta la verdad?”. Ellos responderán: “Sí, por nuestro Señor”. Él dirá: “Probad, pues, el castigo, por no haber creído”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور جس دن کافروں کو آگ کے سامنے پیش کیا جائے گا اور کہا جائے گا کیا یہ حق نہیں؟ وہ کہیں گے ہاں ہاں! ہمیں اپنے رب کی قسم! (یہ بالکل سچ ہے) تب (اللہ) فرمائے گا‘ اچھا تم اپنے کفر کی وجہ سے عذاب کو چکھو۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And on the day when those who disbelieve will be brought before the Fire, it will be said to them, ‘Is not this the truth?’ They will say, ‘Aye, by our Lord, it is the truth.’ He will say, ‘Then taste the punishment, because you disbelieved.’

اردو ترجمہ مودودی
جس روز یہ کافر آگ کے سامنے لائے جائیں گے، اُس وقت اِن سے پوچھا جائے گا "کیا یہ حق نہیں ہے؟" یہ کہیں گے "ہاں، ہمارے رب کی قسم (یہ واقعی حق ہے)" اللہ فرمائے گا، "اچھا تو اب عذاب کا مزا چکھو اپنے اُس انکار کی پاداش میں جو تم کرتے رہے تھے"
English - Sahih
And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire [it will be said], "Is this not the truth?" They will say, "Yes, by our Lord." He will say, "Then taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve."

اور جس دن کافر آگ کے سامنے لائے جائیں گے (ان سے کہا جائے گا) کیا یہ امر واقعی نہیں ہے کہیں گے ہمیں اپنے رب کی قسم ضرور امر واقعی ہے ارشاد ہو گا تواپنے کفر کے بدلہ میں اس کا عذاب چکھو

And (the) Day, are exposed those who disbelieved to the Fire, "Is not this the truth?" They will say, "Yes by our Lord." He will say, "Then taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve."

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس *
English - Arberry
Upon the day when the unbelievers are exposed to the Fire: 'Is not this the truth?' They shall say, 'Yes, by our Lord!' He shall say, 'Then taste the chastisement of your unbelief!'
English - Maududi
On the Day when the unbelievers will be brought within sight of the Fire, they will be asked: “Is this not the Truth?” and they will answer “Yes, by Our Lord (this is the Truth).” Allah will say: “Then suffer the chastisement as a requital for your disbelieving.”

The day the unbelievers will be stood before the Fire, (they will be asked:) "Is this not the reality?" They will answer: "In truth, by our Lord!" It will be said: "Then taste the torment of what you had denied."
