English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

47:4

ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوا اتَّبَعُوا الۡبٰطِلَ وَاَنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّبَعُوا الۡحَقَّ مِنۡ رَّبِّہِمۡ ۚ کَذٰلِکَ یَضۡرِبُ اللّٰہُ لِلنَّاسِ اَمۡثٰلَہُمۡ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth for men their similitudes.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یہ اس لئے ہو گا کہ وہ جنہوں نے کفر کیا انہوں نے جھوٹ کی پیروی کی اور وہ جو ایمان لائے انہوں نے اپنے ربّ کی طرف سے آنے والے حق کی پیروی کی۔ اسی طرح اللہ لوگوں کے سامنے ان کی مثالیں بیان کرتا ہے۔

French

Cela est parce que ceux qui refusent de croire suivent le mensonge, tandis que ceux qui croient suivent la vérité émanant de leur Seigneur. C’est ainsi qu’Allāh explique leurs états aux hommes à travers des similitudes.

German

Dies, weil jene, die ungläubig sind, dem Falschen folgen; die aber gläubig sind, folgen der Wahrheit von ihrem Herrn. Also beschreibt Allah den Menschen ihren Zustand.

Chinese

那是因为不信的人跟从了虚伪, 而信的人追随了来自他们养主的真理。安拉就是这样向人们叙述他们的情况。

Italian

Questo è perché coloro che non credono seguono falsità, mentre coloro che credono seguono la verità che viene dal loro Signore. Così Allah propone per gli uomini delle similitudini.

Spanish

Esto es porque los incrédulos siguen la falsedad, mientras que los creyentes siguen la verdad de su Señor. Así Al-lah propone a los hombres sus ejemplos.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

یہ اس لئے کیا گیا کہ جنہوں نے کفر کیا تھا انہوں نے جھوٹ کی پیروی کی تھی۔ اور جو ایمان لائے تھے وہ اپنے رب کی طرف سے آنے والے حق کے پیچھے چلے تھے اللہ اسی طرح لوگوں کے سامنے ان کا (اصل) حال بیان کرتا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitudes.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

یہ اس لیے کہ کفر کرنے والوں نے باطل کی پیروی کی اور ایمان لانے والوں نے اُس حق کی پیروی کی جو ان کے رب کی طرف سے آیا ہے اِس طرح اللہ لوگوں کو اُن کی ٹھیک ٹھیک حیثیت بتائے دیتا ہے

English - Sahih

That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah present to the people their comparisons.

یہ اس لیے کہ جولوگ منکر ہیں انہوں نے جھوٹ کی پیروی کی اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے انہوں نے اپنے رب کی طرف سے حق کی پیروی کی اسی طرح اللہ لوگوں کے لیے ان کی مثالیں بیان کرتا ہے

English - Talal Itani

That (is) because those who disbelieve follow falsehood and that those who believe follow (the) truth from their Lord. Thus Allah presents to the people their similitudes.

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

English - Arberry

That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Even so God strikes their similitudes for men.

That is because those who disbelieved followed falsehood whereas those who believed followed the Truth that came to them from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth to people parables showing their true state.
