يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَمَا هُم بِخَٰرِجِينَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

They will wish to come out of the Fire, but they will not be able to come out of it, and they shall have a lasting punishment.

وہ چاہیں گے کہ آ گ سے نکل جائیں جبکہ وہ ہرگز اُس سے نکل نہ سکیں گے اور ان کے لئے ایک ٹھہر جانے والا عذاب (مقدر) ہے۔

French

Ils voudront sortir du Feu, mais ils ne pourront pas en sortir et leur châtiment durera longtemps.

Sie möchten wohl dem Feuer entrinnen, doch sie werden nicht daraus entrinnen können, und ihre Pein wird immerwährend sein.

他们渴望从火里出来, 但绝不能出来, 他们将遭到长久的惩罚。

Essi desidereranno uscire dal fuoco, ma non potranno uscirne, e il loro castigo sarà durevole.

Querrán salir del Fuego, pero no podrán salir, y sufrirán un castigo duradero.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

وہ آگ سے نکلنا چاہیں گے مگر ہرگز اس سے نکل[3] نہیں سکیں گے اور ان کے لئے ایک قائم رہنے والا عذاب (مقدر) ہے۔

مطلب یہ کہ اپنے زور سے جہنم سے کوئی آزادنہ ہو سکے گا۔ مگر دوسری جگہ لکھا ہے کہ خداتعالیٰ رحم کرکے لوگوں کو جہنم سے نکال دے گا۔ جیسے فرمایا فَاُمُّہٗ ھَاوِیَۃٌ (القارعۃ) یعنی کافر کے لئے دوزخ ماں کے رحم کی طرح ہوگی جس میں سے آخر بچہ نکل آتا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

They would wish to come out of the Fire, but they will not be able to come out of it and they shall have a lasting punishment.

English - Five Volume Translation

They will wish to come out of the Fire, but they will not be able to come out of it, and they shall have a lasting punishment.[671A]

Commentary:

The word مقیم rendered here as "lasting" does not mean "never ending" but simply very long and not merely transitory. See also 11:108, 199.

وہ چاہیں گے کہ دوزخ کی آگ سے نکل بھاگیں مگر نہ نکل سکیں گے اور انہیں قائم رہنے والا عذاب دیا جائے گا

English - Sahih

They will wish to get out of the Fire, but never are they to emerge therefrom, and for them is an enduring punishment.

وہ چاہیں گے ُکہ آگ سے نکل جائیں حالانکہ وہ اس سے نکلنے والے نہیں اور ان کے لیے دائمی عذاب ہے
