فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِیۡہَا غَیۡرَ بَیۡتٍ مِّنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And We found not there except only one house of Muslims.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس ہم نے اُس میں فرمانبرداروں کا صرف ایک گھر پایا۔

Et Nous n’y avons trouvé qu’une seule famille qui Nous obéissait.

allein Wir fanden dort nur ein Haus von den Gottergebenen.

我在那里只见到一个服从我的家庭。

Italian

E non vi abbiamo trovato che una sola casa dei sottomessi.

Pero no encontramos allí más que una sola casa de musulmanes.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم نے اس بستی میں اپنے فرمانبرداروں کا صرف ایک گھر پایا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And We found there only one house of those who were obedient to Us.

English - Five Volume Translation

And We found not there except one house of those who were obedient to us.[3914]

Commentary:

The house referred to in the verse was that of Lot minus his wife, who chose to side with her disbelieving relatives and refused to go with Lot.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور وہاں ہم نے ایک گھر کے سوا مسلمانوں کا کوئی گھر نہ پایا

English - Sahih

And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims.

پھر ہم نے وہاں سوائے مسلمانوں کے ایک گھر کے نہ پایا

But not We found therein other than a house of the Muslims.
