إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘We used to pray to Him before. Surely, He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یقیناً ہم پہلے بھی اسی کو پکارا کرتے تھے۔ بے شک وہی بہت نیک سلوک کرنے والا (اور) بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

French

En vérité, auparavant aussi, Nous avions l’habitude de Le prier. Assurément, Il est le Bienveillant, le Miséricordieux. »

German

Wir pflegten vormals zu Ihm zu beten. Er ist der Gütige, der Barmherzige."

“我们过去常常不断地祈祷他。的确, 他是极为慈善的, 永久仁慈的。”

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

ہم پہلے سے اس (خدا) کو پکارا کرتے تھے‘ وہ بڑا نیک سلوک کرنے والا (اور) بے انتہا کرم کرنے والا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘We used to pray to Him before. Surely, He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.’

ہم پچھلی زندگی میں اُسی سے دعائیں مانگتے تھے، وہ واقعی بڑا ہی محسن اور رحیم ہے

Indeed, we used to supplicate Him before. Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful."
