فَذَكِّرْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Admonish then. By the grace of thy Lord, thou art neither a soothsayer, nor a madman.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

غرضیکہ تُو نصیحت کرتا چلا جا۔ پس اپنے ربّ کی نعمت کے طفیل تُو نہ تو کاہن ہے اور نہ مجنون۔

French

Avertis donc. Par la grâce de ton Seigneur, tu n’es ni un devin, ni un insensé.

German

Ermahne drum; durch die Gnade deines Herrn bist du weder ein Wahrsager noch ein Besessener.

Chinese

所以你要不断地劝告, 凭着你养主的恩惠, 你不是[a]占卜者, 也不是疯子。

Ammoniscili, dunque. Per la grazia del tuo Signore, tu non sei né un indovino, né un pazzo.

Amonesta, pues. Por la gracia de tu Señor, no eres adivino ni loco.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس (اے رسول) تو (لوگوں کو) نصیحت کیے جا‘ کیونکہ تو اپنے رب کے احسان سے نہ تو کاہن ہے اور نہ مجنون۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

So keep on admonishing. By the grace of thy Lord thou art neither a [a]soothsayer, nor a madman.

69:43.

Admonish then. By the grace of thy Lord, thou art neither a soothsayer,[b] nor a madman.[3948]

69:43.

Commentary:

In the foregoing verses prophecies in former revealed Scriptures, particularly in the Book of Moses, were advanced as arguments to support and substantiate the truth of the Quran being the revealed Word of God. Those prophecies spoke of the appearance of a Prophet in the wilderness of Mecca and having a "Fiery Law" in his right hand (Deut. 33:2). In the present and the following several verses, however, the testimony of reason, common sense and human conscience has been adduced as proof to serve the same purpose.

پس اے نبیؐ، تم نصیحت کیے جاؤ، اپنے رب کے فضل سے نہ تم کاہن ہو اور نہ مجنون

English - Sahih

So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

پس نصیحت کرتے رہئے آپ اپنے رب کے فضل سے نہ کاہن ہیں نہ دیوانہ ہیں

English - Talal Itani

Therefore remind, for not you (are) by (the) grace (of) your Lord a soothsayer, and not a madman.
