57:20

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ ۖ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءُ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَحِيمِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And those who believe in Allah and His Messengers and they are the Truthful and the Witnesses in the sight of their Lord, they will have their reward and their light. But as for those who disbelieve and reject Our Signs, these are the inmates of Hell.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ لوگ جو اللہ اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لائے یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے ربّ کے حضور صدیق اور شہید ٹھہرتے ہیں۔ ان کے لئے ان کا اجر اور ان کا نور ہے۔ اور وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور ہماری آیات کو جھٹلایا یہی جہنّمی ہیں۔

French

Et ceux qui croient en Allāh et en Ses Messagers, ils sont les Véridiques et les Témoins de la vérité aux yeux de leur Seigneur ; ils auront leur récompense et leur lumière. Mais quant à ceux qui refusent de croire, et qui rejettent Nos Signes, ceux-là sont les habitants de l’Enfer.

German

Und die an Allah und Seine Gesandten glauben, das sind die Wahrhaftigen und die Blutzeugen vor ihrem Herrn; sie werden ihren Lohn und ihr Licht empfangen. Die aber ungläubig sind und Unsere Zeichen leugnen, das sind die Insassen der Hölle.

凡是信仰安拉和他使者的人, 在他们的养主看来, 他们是正人、殉教者, 他们将获得他们 (完全) 的回报和他们的光辉。但那些不信而拒绝我的迹象的人, 他们将是火狱的伴侣。

Italian

e coloro che credono in Allah e nei Suoi messaggeri, e che sono i veritieri e i testimoni agli occhi del loro Signore, essi avranno la loro ricompensa e la loro luce. Ma coloro che non credono e respingono i Nostri segni, sono questi gli abitanti dell'Inferno.

Spanish

Y quienes crean en Al-lah y en Sus Mensajeros, y sean los justos y los Testigos a los ojos de su Señor, tendrán su recompensa y su luz. Mas aquellos que no crean y rechacen Nuestros Signos, serán los moradores del Infierno.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور جو اللہ پر اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لائے وہی اپنے رب کے نزدیک صدیق اور شہداء کا درجہ پانے والے[1] ہیں ان کو ان کا پورا پورا اجر ملے گا اور اسی طرح ان کا نور ان کو ملے گا۔ اور وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کفر کیا۔ اور ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا‘ وہ دوزخی ہونگے۔

بعض لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لانے کے نتیجہ میں انسان صرف صدیق اور شہداء کے مرتبہ پر پہنچ سکتا ہے نہ کہ نبوت کے مقام تک‘ ان کے سمجھانے کے لئے ہم سورۃ النساء کی یہ آیت پیش کرتے ہیں کہ وَ مَنْ یُّطِعِ اللّٰہَ وَالرَّسُوْلَ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ مَعَ الَّذِیْنَ اَنْعَمَ اللّٰہُ عَلَیْھِمْ مِّنَ النَّبِیّٖنَ وَالصِّدِّیْقِیْنَ وَالشُّھَدَآءِ وَ الصَّالِحِیْنَ وَ حَسُنَ اُولٰٓئِکَ رَفِیْقًا (النساء: ۷۰)ان دونوں آیات پر غور کرکے ہر شخص معلوم کر سکتا ہے کہ سورۃ الحدید میں تو یہ کہا گیا ہے کہ جو لوگ اللہ اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لائے وہی صدیق اور شہ

English - Short Commentary Translation

Those who believe in Allah and His Messengers, they are the Truthful and the Witnesses in the sight of their Lord. They will have their full reward and their light. But those who disbelieve and reject Our Signs, these are the inmates of Hell.

English - Five Volume Translation

And those who believe in Allah and His Messengers and they are the Truthful and the Witnesses in the sight of their Lord, they will have their reward and their light. But as for those [a]who disbelieve and reject Our Signs, these are the inmates of Hell.[4162]

Commentary:

The verse purports to say that if Muslims believed in the great Divine Reformer, they will attain to those spiritual heights which the Truthful (الصدیقون) and the Martyrs (الشھداء) attained.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور جو لوگ اللہ اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لائے ہیں وہی اپنے رب کے نزدیک صدیق اور شہید ہیں، اُن کے لیے اُن کا اجر اور اُن کا نور ہے اور جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا ہے اور ہماری آیات کو جھٹلایا ہے وہ دوزخی ہیں

English - Sahih

And those who have believed in Allah and His messengers - those are [in the ranks of] the supporters of truth and the martyrs, with their Lord. For them is their reward and their light. But those who have disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of Hellfire.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور جو لوگ الله اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لائے وہی لوگ اپنے رب کے نزدیک صدیق اور شہید ہیں ان کے لیے ان کا اجر اور ان کی روشنی ملے گی اور جنہوں نے کفر کیا اورہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا یہی لوگ دوزخی ہیں

And those who believe in Allah and His Messengers, [those] they (are) the truthful and the martyrs, (are) with their Lord. For them (is) their reward and their light. But those who disbelieve and deny Our Verses, those (are the) companions (of) the Hellfire.

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

English - Arberry

And those who believe in God and His Messengers -- they are the just men and the martyrs in their Lord's sight; they have their wage, and their light. But the unbelievers, who have cried lies to Our signs, they are the inhabitants of Hell.

English - Maududi

In Allah's sight only those who truly believe in Allah and His Messengers are utterly truthful and true bearers of witness (for the sake of Allah). For them is their reward and their light. As for those who gave the lie to Our Signs, they are the people of Hell.

English - Ahmed Ali

Those who believe in God and His apostles are true of word and deed; and by their Lord are considered testifiers of the truth. They have their guerdon and their light. As for those who do not believe and reject Our revelations, are the people of Hell.

And those who believe in Allah and His messengers- they are the Sincere (lovers of Truth), and the witnesses (who testify), in the eyes of their Lord: They shall have their Reward and their Light. But those who reject Allah and deny Our Signs,- they are the Companions of Hell-Fire.
