58:11

اِنَّمَا النَّجۡوٰی مِنَ الشَّیۡطٰنِ لِیَحۡزُنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَلَیۡسَ بِضَآرِّہِمۡ شَیۡـًٔا اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَعَلَی اللّٰہِ فَلۡیَتَوَکَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Holding of secret counsels for evil purposes is only of Satan, that he may cause grief to those who believe; but it cannot harm them in the least, except by Allah’s leave. And in Allah should the believers put their trust.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

خفیہ سازشیں تو صرف شیطان کی طرف سے ہوتی ہیں تاکہ وہ اُن لوگوں کو جو ایمان لائے غم میں مبتلا کردے جبکہ وہ انہیں ذرہ بھر بھی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتا مگر اللہ کے اِذن کے ساتھ۔ پس چاہئے کہ مومن اللہ ہی پر توکل کریں۔

French

La tenue de réunions secrètes à de mauvaises fins ne provient que de Satan, afin qu’il puisse occasionner de l’affliction à ceux qui croient ; mais cela ne peut leur nuire nullement, sauf par la permission d’Allāh. Et c’est en Allāh que les croyants doivent placer leur confiance.

German

Geheime Verschwörung ist allein von Satan, auf dass er die betrübe, die gläubig sind; doch er kann ihnen nicht den geringsten Schaden zufügen, es sei denn mit Allahs Erlaubnis. Und auf Allah sollen die Gläubigen vertrauen.

(为了邪恶的目的而举行) 秘密的商议只是出自恶魔, 他想使信仰的人悲伤; 但除了有安拉的许可, 他不能伤害他们一点。信仰的人应信赖安拉。

Italian

Il tenere incontri segreti per scopi iniqui è solo di Satana, che vuole causare dolore ai credenti. Ma non può far loro il minimo male, se Allah non glielo lascia fare. È in Allah che i credenti dovrebbero porre la loro fiducia.

Spanish

La celebración de conversaciones secretas para fines perversos sólo corresponde a Satanás, para causar aflicción a los creyentes; aunque no puede perjudicarles en nada, salvo que Al-lah lo quiera. Y en Al-lah deben los creyentes poner su confianza.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

خفیہ مشورہ کرنے کا طریق[1] شیطان کی طرف سے آیا ہے اور اس کی غرض یہ ہے کہ مومنوں کو فکر میں ڈالے اور وہ ان کو اللہ کے حکم کے بغیر کچھ بھی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتا اور چاہیے کہ مومن صرف اللہ پر توکل کریں۔

یعنی ایسے مشوروں کا جو کہ بدکاموں کے متعلق ہوں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

English - Five Volume Translation

Commentary:

The disbelievers are warned that their secret societies and assemblies would not in any way harm the cause of truth, try as they might.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

کانا پھوسی تو ایک شیطانی کام ہے، اور وہ اس لیے کی جاتی ہے کہ ایمان لانے والے لوگ اُس سے رنجیدہ ہوں، حالانکہ بے اذن خدا وہ انہیں کچھ بھی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتی، اور مومنوں کو اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ رکھنا چاہیے

English - Sahih

Private conversation is only from Satan that he may grieve those who have believed, but he will not harm them at all except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

(یہ) سرگوشی تو صرف شیطانی بات ہے تاکہ ایمان داروں کو غمناک کر دے حالانکہ بغیر حکم الله کے کچھ بھی ضرر نہیں دے سکتی اور ایمان والے تو الله ہی پربھروسہ رکھتے ہیں

English - Talal Itani

Only the secret counsels (are) from the Shaitaan that he may grieve those who believe, but not he (can) harm them (in) anything except by Allah's permission. And upon Allah let put (their) trust the believers.

Chinese Commentary ^*

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

یعنی ایسے مشوروں کا جو کہ بدکاموں کے متعلق ہوں۔

English - Arberry

Conspiring secretly together is of Satan, that the believers may sorrow; but he will not hurt them anything, except by the leave of God. And in God let the believers put all their trust.

English - Maududi

Whispering is an act of Satan, one that aims at causing grief to the believers; yet without Allah's leave no harm can be caused to them. So in Allah should the believers put all their trust.

English - Ahmed Ali

Surely scheming is the work of Satan that he may cause the faithful grief; but he cannot harm them unless God dispense. So in God should the believers place their trust.

English - Yusuf Ali

Secret counsels are only (inspired) by the Evil One, in order that he may cause grief to the Believers; but he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits; and on Allah let the Believers put their trust.
