61:12

تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَرَسُوۡلِہٖ وَتُجٰہِدُوۡنَ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ بِاَمۡوٰلِکُمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِکُمۡ ۚ ذٰلِکُمۡ خَیۡرٌ لَّکُمۡ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

That you believe in Allah and His Messenger, and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your persons. That is better for you, if you did but know.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تم (جو) اللہ پر اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاتے ہو اور اللہ کے راستے میں اپنے اموال اور اپنی جانوں کے ساتھ جہاد کرتے ہو، یہ تمہارے لئے بہت بہتر ہے اگر تم علم رکھتے ہو۔

French

Que vous croyiez en Allāh et en Son Messager, et luttiez pour la cause d’Allāh avec vos biens et vos personnes. Cela vaut mieux pour vous, si seulement vous saviez.

German

Ihr sollt an Allah glauben und an Seinen Gesandten und sollt streiten für Allahs Sache mit eurem Gut und eurem Blut. Das ist besser für euch, wenn ihr es nur wüsstet.

Chinese

[a]那就是你们信仰安拉和他的使者, 以你们的财产和生命在安拉的道上奋斗。要是你们知道, 那对你们是最好的。

Credete in Allah e nel Suo messaggero, e lottate per la causa di Allah con i vostri averi e con la vostra persona. Ciò è meglio per voi, se solo sapeste.

Que creáis en Al-lah y en Su Mensajero y os esforcéis en la causa de Al-lah con vuestras riquezas y vuestras personas. Esto es lo mejor para vosotros, si acaso supierais.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(۔وہ تجارت یہ ہے کہ) تم اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ‘ اور اللہ کے رستہ میں اپنے مالوں اور اپنی جانوں سے جہاد کرو۔ اگر تم جانو تو یہ تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]That you believe in Allah and His Messenger, and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your persons. That is better for you, if you did but know.

Commentary:

The reference in the verse again seems to be to the present time—the era of the Promised Messiah, in which, in the absence of religious wars, monetary sacrifice is given precedence over other forms of sacrifice. The present is the time for propagation of Islamic principles and ideals for which money, more than anything else, is urgently needed. The two verses (11, 12) equally are of general application.

ایمان لاؤ اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر، اور جہاد کرو اللہ کی راہ میں اپنے مالوں سے اور اپنی جانوں سے یہی تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے اگر تم جانو

English - Sahih

[It is that] you believe in Allah and His Messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know.

تم الله اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اور تم الله کی راہ میں اپنے مالوں اور اپنی جانوں سے جہاد کرو یہی تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے اگر تم جانتے ہو
