63:2
اِذَا جَآءَکَ الۡمُنٰفِقُوۡنَ قَالُوۡا نَشۡہَدُ اِنَّکَ لَرَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ ۗ وَاللّٰہُ یَعۡلَمُ اِنَّکَ لَرَسُوۡلُہٗ وَاللّٰہُ یَشۡہَدُ اِنَّ الۡمُنٰفِقِیۡنَ لَکٰذِبُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
When the hypocrites come to thee, they say, ‘We bear witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of Allah.’ And Allah knows that thou art indeed His Messenger, but Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely liars.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
جب منافق تیرے پاس آتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ ضرور تُو اللہ کا رسول ہے۔ اور اللہ جانتا ہے کہ تُویقیناً اس کا رسول ہے۔ پھر بھی اللہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ منافق یقیناً جھوٹے ہیں۔
French
Quand les hypocrites viennent à toi, ils disent : « Nous témoignons que tu es en effet le Messager d’Allāh. » Et Allāh sait que tu es en effet Son Messager, mais Allāh atteste que les hypocrites sont sûrement des menteurs.

Wenn die Heuchler zu dir kommen, sagen sie: "Wir bezeugen, dass du in Wahrheit der Gesandte Allahs bist." Und Allah weiß, dass du in Wahrheit Sein Gesandter bist, jedoch Allah bezeugt, dass die Heuchler gewisslich Lügner sind.

当伪信者来到你那里, 他们说: “我们作证, 你确是安拉的使者。” 安拉知道, 你确是他的使者, 但安拉也作证, 伪信者确是说假话的。
Italian
Quando gli ipocriti vengono da te, dicono: «Noi rendiamo testimonianza che tu sei il messaggero di Allah.» E Allah sa bene che tu sei veramente il Suo messaggero; ma Allah dà anche testimonianza del fatto che gli ipocriti sono certamente dei mentitori.
Spanish
Cuando llegan a ti los hipócritas dicen: “Somos testigos de que eres en verdad el Mensajero de Al-lah”. Al-lah sabe que ciertamente tú eres el Mensajero, pero Él es Testigo de que los hipócritas son ciertamente embusteros.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
جب تیرے پاس منافق آتے ہیں تو وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم قسم کھا کر گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ تو اللہ کا رسول ہے۔ اور اللہ جانتا ہے کہ تو اس کا رسول ہے۔ مگر (ساتھ ہی) اللہ قسم کھا کر گواہی دیتا ہے کہ منافق جھوٹے ہیں۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
When the Hypocrites[3049] come to thee, they say, ‘We bear witness that thou art the Messenger of Allah.’ And Allah knows that thou art indeed His Messenger, but Allah also bears witness that the Hypocrites certainly are liars.
It is characteristic of a hypocrite that he makes loud profession of his faith and thereby seeks to conceal the treachery and infidelity of his heart.
English - Five Volume Translation
When the Hypocrites come to thee, they say, ‘We bear witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of Allah.’ And Allah knows that thou art indeed His Messenger, but Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are certainly liars.[4244]
Commentary:
It is characteristic of a hypocrite that he makes loud profession of his faith and thus seeks to conceal the treachery and infidelity of his heart.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اے نبیؐ، جب یہ منافق تمہارے پاس آتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں "ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ آ پ یقیناً اللہ کے رسول ہیں" ہاں، اللہ جانتا ہے کہ تم ضرور اُس کے رسول ہو، مگر اللہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ یہ منافق قطعی جھوٹے ہیں
English - Sahih
When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.
اردو ترجمہ احمد علی
جب آپ کے پاس منافق آتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ بے شک آپ الله کے رسول ہیں اور الله جانتا ہے کہ بے شک آپ اس کے رسول ہیں اور الله گواہی دیتا ہے کہ بے شک منافق جھوٹے ہیں

When come to you the hypocrites, they say, "We testify that you (are) surely (the) Messenger (of) Allah." And Allah knows that you (are) surely His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites (are) surely liars.

English - Arberry
When the hypocrites come to thee they say, 'We bear witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of God.' And God knows that thou art indeed His Messenger, and God bears witness that the hypocrites are truly liars.
English - Maududi
(O Prophet), when the hypocrites come to you, they say: “We bear witness that you are certainly Allah's Messenger.” Allah certainly knows that you are His Messenger. But Allah also bears witness that the hypocrites are utter liars!

WHEN THE HYPOCRITES come to you, they say: "We affirm that you are the Apostle of God." God indeed knows you are His Apostle. God bears witness that the hypocrites are indeed liars.
